Peg loom weaving is one of the oldest known forms of
weaving. A simple, ancient practice that predates
industrial looms and was once found in homes across
the land. Using the magick of wooden pegs, fibre, and
our hands, we will step into this slow, rhythmic way of
making that our ancestors would have known well.

🗓️ Sunday September 13th 2026
đź•’ 10am - 4pm
🍽️ Lunch included.
📍 Craven Arms, Shropshire.

What to expect:

Master the ancestral art of peg loom weaving, perfect
for beginners and experienced makers alike. You'll be
working with raw sheep fleece, learning how to prepare
and weave it into stunning pieces. By the end of the
workshop, you'll have crafted your own sit mat to take
home.

The Moss Maga carries the ancient wisdom of one of Earth's oldest families. Mosses have softened stone and clothed the forest floor for over 450 million years, quietly witnessing the changing of worlds. Though she is in her young Maga phase, there is an ageless knowing within her—a sparkling, playful spirit that holds the deep memory of the land.

She belongs to the season of growth, not only in spring but throughout the year. She reminds us that life is always finding a way; through damp woodland floors, across fallen branches, over roots and ancient stones, and in the cool embrace of mist and rain.

She embodies the freshness that follows rainfall, the grounding presence of water held within the earth, and the quiet wisdom that comes from moving slowly.

Her medicine is one of fertile places—the places where decay nourishes new life, where fungi weave unseen connections beneath the soil, and where moss gently blankets what has fallen.

Deeply connected to the element of Water, she understands that emotion, like rain, is not something to be feared but something that nourishes what is waiting to grow. She is a keeper of hope, reminding us that the richest, most beautiful growth often begins in the soft, hidden places where something has come to an end.

You'll find her in my website shop... Link to which is in my bio.

The Moss Maga comes as a gentle reminder that the forest never wastes what has fallen. She knows that beneath every blanket of moss and every decaying branch, life is already preparing itself to begin again. She offers companionship through the slow, tender places of becoming, encouraging trust in the unseen growth that often begins long before we can recognise it.

I felt called to make her in a dream, her cloak was a luscious blanket of protection and camouflage, a cloak to hide herself in the damp lower layer of the forest as she weaves her magic and wisdom when she glides across the forest floor.

Perhaps you find yourself standing at the edge of an ending. A relationship has changed, a dream has fallen away, a season of life has quietly come to a close, or perhaps you simply feel the deep longing for something new to emerge, even if you cannot yet name it.

And if she calls to you, maybe she's yours to bring home...

Mosses have softened stone and clothed the forest floor for over 450 million years, quietly witnessing the changing of worlds. Though she is in her young Maga phase, there is an ageless knowing within her—a sparkling, playful spirit that holds the deep memory of the land.
She carries the stories of the mist and the rain, of the scurries of the ground, leaf covering, seedlings pushing up through the damp earth. She walks steadily over the fallen branches, decorating the dead wood and living roots and bark.

She knows that the most fertile ground is often the place after an ending. From the element that died something from that wishes to grow, and although the process can be slow and more uncomfortable than we’d like, the damp fresh new growth is the most tender and beautiful thing, more beautiful than what came before because it still contains the ache of what left us.
I felt called to make her in a dream, her cloak was a luscious blanket of protection and camouflage, a cloak to hide herself in the damp lower layer of the forest as she weaves her magic and wisdom when she glides across the forest floor.

Resting on your altar or within your sacred space, she becomes a quiet keeper of hope. A reminder that grief and fertility can share the same soil, that wisdom often grows from what we have loved and lost, and that your own wild nature already knows how to find its way back towards aliveness.
