Raffle tickets are on sale now from the Office Team! First prize will be a delicious handmade cake (made by our very own Deputy Manager, Danielle) followed by the hampers as marked. Tickets are £1 per strip and all proceeds got to the Residents Fund. We will draw the raffle at the Garden Party on Saturday 1st August! We also have a Guess how many Sweets in the Jar (all carefully counted by the management team, no bribes accepted 😜).If you would like to have a go, it’s 50p a guess and the jar is in the front office! Best of luck everyone and we hope to see you all Saturday! ☺️

It’s been a busy week at Cromwell House Care Home with a Magic Show, exercises, bingo, with our Andy doing a grand job calling the numbers, national chocolate day making some cornflake cakes, colouring (with a good old natter) and laptop time enjoying some games from the portal. It may be a bit too hot to get outside but we still have lots to do indoors where the air conditioning keeps us lovely and cool! 😎

Congratulations to Panashe, who is our Employee of the Month for July 2026. Panashe has been selected following the positive feedback received from staff and visitors, observation of his engagement and empathic approach to residents, his integration into the team and his person centred care records. We are all extremely happy to have Panashe as part of our Team, he is a real star! 🤩(Panashe has been awarded via the Be Recognised App)

A little Friday thank you for the Care staff at Cromwell House Care home. We truly appreciate your hard work and support. You are all an integral part of our team and sometimes we forget to appreciate this as often as we should. Thank you Care team 💕

Wonderful afternoon was had by all at our Vintage Tea and Tunes event held yesterday. We had the fabulous Mr Cash who really did get everyone in the spirit followed by a traditional afternoon tea laid on by our fantastic Chefs. Thank you to our staff team who supported and to our lovely Relatives who came along to support the afternoon and enjoy it with their loved ones 💕

We are embracing the World Cup at Cromwell House. All the competing teams were placed in a hat and our residents have each drawn a team, now let’s see who the lucky winner is! Fingers crossed for you all. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
