Friday was definitely a fun day today at the Cedars.

Games table this morning where we played snap, dominos and more!

Rock cake baking this afternoon! The residents all had a lovely taste test and so far I think they might be the favourite of what we have baked!

Finishing of with a spot of crafting and I have left the residents puzzle packs to keep them entertained this weekend!

The residents and I had another exciting day.

This morning was Elsie Cs turn to get into the community. We had a lovely coffee together and explored all the shops in the village while the rest of the residents were doing some independent activities I left!

We did 2 rounds of bingo this afternoon,
Both our first to a line winners
And both our full house winners are pictured below!! Very big well done to them all!

Then we finished of the day with some crafting, making little octopuses! Which came out really lovely.

I would like to take a moment to remind you all of our upcoming sports day at the home.

August 20th at 2pm we will be holding a sports day in the garden!

We are hoping to have a raffle included in our sports day and so we are starting to accept any donations, big or small, to be apart of the prize fund.

If you would like to donate please bring along your donation and pass it along to any of the staff at the home.

Friday fun day today at the cedars.

We started of this morning with a selection of games including dominos and card games where we had a selection of winners!

This afternoon we started of with a resident favourite bingo! Where Audrey and frank were both winners today pictured with there winning grids below.

We finished off the afternoon crafting some lovely hot air balloon designs which I’m going to hang in the residents rooms for them once they have dried!

I have left the residents with a selection of colouring and word puzzles to keep them entertained over the weekend

A very busy and well spent Thursday here at the Cedars.

Keeping up with our residents trips into town as well as general nail care this morning! While I was out in town the residents did some independent art work which is pictured below!

This afternoon we got too baking! Which was a success this week! We of course enjoyed them over a cup of tea this afternoon and we cleared the lot!

We finished the day making some wool shapes for the residents rooms and a few rounds of hangman in the lounge.

Another lovely day at the Cedars.
This morning we played a selection of word games followed by a quiz won by the lovely Pat M.

This afternoon we had another crafting project, the residents absolutely love arts and crafts and asked me if we could do some more of it, during the residents meeting. So we started off with some caterpillar craft making.

Finishing the day with a best out of 3 floor dominos competition won by Helen!

This afternoon we had a bracelet making station for something a little different at the home!

This afternoon was also our monthly residents meeting, allowing the residents to share how they are finding things at the home! A recap of the meeting and what we have implemented from the meeting will be up on the notice boards shortly for you to read over.

Then we ended the day with a quick round of bingo ( it’s a residents Fave! So we always fit it in where we have time)
And today the wonderful Isabel won both a full house and a line!
