My name is Jane, and I'm so excited to finally share that I'm beginning my journey as a pre-registered childminder, with spaces planned to open from September 2026.

Every Child Blooms in Their Own Time 🌸

One of the most important things you'll hear me say at Little Wildflowers is...
"Every child develops at their own pace." 🤍
There is no race.
No pressure.
No comparisons.
Every little wildflower is wonderfully unique.
Some children will be chatting away before they're two, while others are quietly taking everything in.
Some will love climbing, running and exploring outdoors.

Others will prefer sitting with a book, building towers or caring for a teddy.
And that's exactly how it should be.
As a qualified EYFS Primary School Teacher with a Master's in Early Years, I've learnt that children thrive when they're given the time, encouragement and confidence to develop naturally.

At Little Wildflowers, I'll celebrate every achievement...
🌼 First smiles.
👣 First steps.
🗣️ First words.
🎨 First masterpieces.
🤍 New friendships.
🌿 Little moments of bravery.
Every milestone matters, no matter how big or small.

My role isn't to rush children...
It's to gently nurture them, encourage them and cheer them on as they grow into confident little people.
Because every flower blooms in its own season... and every child deserves the time to bloom. 🌸

Little Voices, Big Smiles 🎵🧸

One of my favourite parts of the day will always be...
Singing together. 🎶🤍

At Little Wildflowers, nursery rhymes are so much more than just songs.

They help children to...
🎵 Build language and communication skills.
🧠 Develop memory and listening skills.
👏 Learn rhythm, turn-taking and coordination.
😊 Express emotions and build confidence.
💚 Most importantly... they bring us together.
We'll use puppets, teddies, musical instruments and story props to bring every rhyme to life. Whether we're rowing a boat, hunting for bears, watching tiny spiders climb or singing about five little ducks, every song becomes an exciting adventure.

Children learn best when they're actively involved, and using props encourages even the quietest little voices to join in.

As a qualified EYFS Primary School Teacher, I've seen first-hand how music supports every area of a child's development. It's a wonderful way to nurture confidence, imagination and a lifelong love of learning.

So don't be surprised if you hear lots of singing coming from our little woodland home...
Because happy children make joyful music. 🌿🎶

🌿 WAITING LIST NOW OPEN 🌿

Little Wildflowers at No.96 is delighted to announce that our Priority Waiting List is now open for children starting from September 2026 onwards. 🤍

If you're looking for a calm, nurturing, home-from-home childcare setting where your little one can play, explore and grow through nature-inspired learning, I'd love to hear from you.

✨ Offering places for: 🌼 Children aged 3 months to 3 years 🌼 Full-time and part-time spaces 🌼 Flexible days and hours where possible 🌼 Open all year 🌼 Government-funded childcare accepted (where eligible)

To ensure every child receives the time, care and attention they deserve, I will be caring for only a small number of children, meaning places will be very limited.
Once my registration is complete and everything is ready, I'll be inviting families on my waiting list to an Open Day, where you'll be able to explore the setting, meet me, ask any questions and see what Little Wildflowers is all about before making any decisions.

Childhood Should Be Unhurried 🍃
🌿
One of the biggest promises I want to make to every family who joins Little Wildflowers is this...
We won't rush childhood. 🤍
In today's busy world it's easy to feel like children always need to be doing the next activity, reaching the next milestone or learning the next skill.

But I believe some of the most valuable moments happen when we simply...
🌼 Sit together and read a story.
🍃 Watch the leaves blowing in the wind.
🐞 Stop to look at a tiny ladybird.
🫖 Enjoy a pretend tea party with friends.
🌳 Build a den from sticks and blankets.
💚 Laugh, chat and follow wherever children's imaginations take us.

As a qualified EYFS Primary School Teacher with a Master's in Early Years, I've learnt that children don't need every minute planned.
They need time.
Time to think.
Time to wonder.
Time to play.
At Little Wildflowers, I'll be following children's interests, celebrating their individuality and creating meaningful experiences that make childhood magical.
Because there is no rush to grow up...

When parents leave their little ones with someone else, they're not just looking for childcare...

They're looking for a place where their child will feel safe, loved and at home.
That has always been my vision for Little Wildflowers.

I want every child to walk through my front door feeling excited to start their day, knowing they'll be welcomed with smiles, cuddles (when wanted), stories, adventures and lots of opportunities to play.
There'll be no rushing.
No pressure.

Just a calm, nurturing environment where children can learn at their own pace and feel like they truly belong.
As a qualified EYFS Primary School Teacher and mummy myself, I know how important those early years are. My aim is to build strong relationships with every family, so we work together to give each child the very best start.
I hope that when families think of Little Wildflowers, they don't just think of a childminder...
They think of a second home.

A place filled with kindness, laughter and happy memories. 🌿🤍

"But when do the children actually learn?"
The answer is...
All day, every day. 🤎
At Little Wildflowers, learning doesn't happen by sitting at a table completing worksheets.
Instead...
🧺 Building a tower develops problem-solving and early maths.
🍵 Hosting a teddy bears' tea party encourages communication, sharing and imagination.
🌿 Collecting leaves introduces patterns, textures and the natural world.
📚 Reading together builds language, confidence and a lifelong love of books.
🎨 Painting, pouring, scooping and exploring strengthen little hands ready for writing in the future.

As a qualified EYFS Primary School Teacher with a Master's in Early Years, I know that children learn best when they're engaged, curious and having fun.

Every invitation to play has a purpose behind it—even if it simply looks like children enjoying themselves.
Because childhood shouldn't be rushed.
It should be filled with wonder, laughter, discovery and plenty of opportunities to learn through play.

That's exactly what I'm creating here at Little Wildflowers at No.96. 🌿
