Scar therapy isn’t just about how your scar looks.
When I assess a Caesarean scar, I’m looking at the whole area. How the tissues move, where there may be restriction or tension, and what’s happening above, below and around the scar.
These photos were taken before and after one scar therapy session. You can see a visible change in the area above the scar following treatment.
But the aim isn’t to create a perfectly flat tummy or promise a particular cosmetic result. It’s about working with the scar and the tissues around it to improve movement and how the area feels and functions.
Every scar is different. Every body is different. And that’s why every session starts with an individual assessment.
