AI is rapidly changing the construction industry and it's not just in project planning, scheduling and site monitoring. Plant manufacturers are now using AI to help improve safety on site too.

A recent innovation from AUSA introduces the DR902AHG reversible dumper with an AI-assisted visibility and person-detection system. Using cameras, radar and artificial intelligence, the system helps operators identify nearby workers, reduce blind spots and improve situational awareness around the machine. This is particularly important as visibility remains one of the biggest safety challenges when operating site dumpers.

As AI technology continues to evolve, we're likely to see more intelligent safety systems integrated into everyday construction equipment, helping create safer, smarter job sites.
