Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I started Rescue Ready Kids. β€οΈπŸš‘

I had the privilege of teaching at Park Community School, meeting so many incredible children who threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, curiosity and confidence.

Watching them learn how to respond in an emergency, practise life-saving skills and realise that they can make a difference is something I'll never get tired of. We often underestimate what children are capable of, but today they proved that with the right knowledge and encouragement, they can do amazing things.

Every child who learns first aid is another child who could one day save a life. That's a powerful thought.

A huge thank you to everyone at Park Community School for having Rescue Ready Kids. Thank you to the children for making today so much fun, asking brilliant questions and giving it your all. You were all superstars! 🌟

Together, we're creating a generation of confident, compassionate young lifesaversβ€”one session at a time. ❀️

Since sharing my idea for Rescue Ready Kids: Little Superheroes, I have been completely overwhelmed by the response! πŸ₯Ήβœ¨

I have received so many messages from incredible families and heard about so many amazing children who would love to share their stories. πŸ’›

This is exactly why I started this project. ❀️

Behind every diagnosis, medical condition, disability or life-changing injury is an incredible child with their own personality, dreams, achievements, challenges and story to tell.

I cannot wait to meet these little superheroes, hear their stories and give them the platform they truly deserve. πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈβœ¨

I'm so excited to launch a brand-new Rescue Ready Kids series, dedicated to raising awareness of childhood medical conditions, disabilities, and life-changing injuries.

As a paramedic, I've seen how much courage children show every single day. Now I want to give them the opportunity to share their story in their own words.

I'm looking for children who are happy to take part in a relaxed interview, talking about:

🩺 Their condition or injury.
πŸ’› What life is really like for them.
🌟 The challenges they've overcome.
😊 What they wish others understood.
✨ Their hopes, dreams and achievements.

The aim is simple: to educate, inspire and help other families feel less alone.

There is absolutely no cost to take part.
