SEASONAL AND LONG-TERM VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR 2027!! 😊
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live off the beaten track? Come and experience an alternative way of life on the breathtaking Holy Isle. We are a small, vibrant volunteer community sharing this unique sanctuary with a variety of local wildlife, including our famous Eriskay ponies.
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join us in the following roles:
Office Coordinator: Help keep our island running smoothly by handling guest bookings, managing email and phone enquiries, and offering a warm welcome to visitors. Previous administrative experience is a plus!
Gardener: Join our food-growing efforts! Self-motivated team member, physically fit, experience with vegetable cultivation, the ability to plan ahead for the growing season, and plenty of self-initiative.
Housekeeper: Play a key role in keeping our spaces welcoming. You’ll focus primarily on housekeeping during busy guest changeover days and then lend a hand in other departments during quieter periods.
Chef / Cook: Must be able to confidently lead kitchen shifts and guide helper volunteers to create nourishing vegetarian and vegan meals. Experience with baking bread is a huge plus!!
Environmental team member: Brings high energy enthusiasm and dedication to outdoor conservation. Thrives in all weather conditions and possesses the physical stamina required for rugged terrains and demanding field tasks.
For all the roles above we need full time, long term volunteers. Come and try something different!
