Information for today’s vaccination clinic at Brodick Hall

Arran Mass Vaccination Clinic - Today (Tuesday 14th July 2026)

Due to ferry cancellations and timetable changes, today's Arran Mass Vaccination Clinic will be running later than planned.

The clinic will now operate from 2.15pm to 5.30pm at Brodick Hall. If your appointment was scheduled outside these revised clinic hours, please attend between 2.30pm and 5pm.

Please allow extra time and ensure you keep hydrated while waiting.

Following recent outbreaks of meningitis in the UK, the MenB vaccine is being offered to some older teenagers and students under 25 who are at higher risk of exposure to meningococcal group B bacteria.

📜Arran Pharmacy notice

Lamlash Pharmacy will be closed this Saturday 27th June as the Pharmacist will be covering Brodick Pharmacy for normal opening hours of 9-1pm. As a result, the Pharmacist will not be covering Whiting Bay chemist at lunchtime tomorrow (Friday 26th) and Lamlash will be open all day 9-5pm to allow for prescription collection.

Arran Medical Group will be closed from 1pm today. We will reopen at 8.30am Friday 26th June.

Some GP Practices will be closed from 1pm to 5.30pm today (25th June) to carry out staff training. During these times the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service will provide urgent care and support to patients of practices which are closed.

Patients or Community Pharmacies who require to contact a participating GP Practice urgently during the time they are closed for Protected Learning Time should call the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930.

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Arran Medical Group is seeking an experienced and organised Finance Administrator to join our team. This role works closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of practice finances.

Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week (to be discussed at interview)

Salary: £31,537 – £34,303 per annum pro rata (based on fulltime 37 hours), dependent on experience

The post includes:
• Processing income, expenditure, invoicing and reconciliations using Xero
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Supporting Health Board and GP training claims
• Liaising with accountants, bankers, GP partners and suppliers
• Supporting payroll preparation, partner drawings and out of hours payments
• Managing supplier contracts, tenders and annual financial reviews
We are looking for someone with experience in finance or accounts administration, strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a professional approach to confidentiality within a healthcare environment.

Due to the forthcoming retirement, we are working to a quick turnaround.
