✨ What exactly is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)? ✨

A lot of people think MLD is just a gentle massage… but it’s actually a specialised therapy designed to support your lymphatic system.

Your lymphatic system plays a vital role in helping your body manage excess fluid, support your immune system and remove waste products. Unlike your heart, it doesn’t have a pump, so it relies on movement and gentle stimulation to keep everything flowing.

💚 It’s finally starting to feel real! 💚

After a well-earned holiday, my builder is back and cracking on with my new treatment space… and I honestly can’t wait to welcome you all through those doors.

Every week it gets a little closer to becoming the peaceful, relaxing space I’ve been dreaming of creating for my clients.

The section on the left will be the toilet, and once that’s finished it’s full steam ahead with the inside. There’s still plenty to do, but we’re definitely on the home stretch now!

This space has been built with one thing in mind… giving women somewhere they can switch off, take a breath, and focus on themselves for an hour.

Your appointment is designed to be relaxing, comfortable and focused on helping you feel your best.

💚 We’ll begin with a chat about your general health and discuss what you’d like to focus on during your treatment.

💚 I’ll explain how Brazilian MLD and Wood Therapy work together and answer any questions you may have before we begin.

💚 You’ll then enjoy a treatment using gentle Brazilian MLD techniques alongside specially designed wooden tools to target the treatment area.

✨ Another lovely client, another wonderful Manual Lymphatic Drainage session. ✨

These before and after photos were taken immediately before and after today’s treatment.

My client came to me experiencing swelling in her leg and ankle following a knee operation last year. She was also experiencing abdominal bloating and swelling in her underarm area, which had left her with painful lumps under her arms.

During the treatment, she told me she could feel the treatment working.

After the session, she reported:

💚 The swelling in her underarm area had reduced significantly, and the previously painful lumps were no longer causing her discomfort.
💚 She felt much less bloated through her abdomen.
💚 The swelling in her leg and ankle had reduced.
💚 The pain in her leg had completely gone.
💚 Her legs continued to feel lighter and more comfortable as the day went on.

It’s always a privilege to help clients feel more comfortable in their own bodies. While everybody responds differently and results vary from person to person, it’s wonderful to hear how much of a difference a treatment has made to someone’s day.

💚 Welcome to all my new followers! 💚

I just wanted to say a big welcome and thank you for following my page. It’s lovely to see so many new faces.

If we haven’t met before, I’m Natalie, the face behind Onawa Healing.

I offer a range of holistic and wellbeing treatments, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Brazilian MLD with Wood Therapy, Holistic Facials, Indian Head Massage and a variety of other therapies, all with the aim of helping you relax, restore and take some well-deserved time for yourself.
