Self-Employed Support Worker Required – Kendal Area
£20.00 per hour
Self-Employed Position
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Self-Employed Support Worker to join an established two-to-one support team supporting a young adult with additional needs in the Kendal area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a small, supportive team focused on promoting independence, wellbeing, and community engagement.
Hours Available
The current support hours available are:
Monday: 15:30 – 19:30 (4 hours)
Wednesday: 15:30 – 19:30 (4 hours)
Alternate Saturdays: 09:30 – 15:30 (6 hours)
Flexibility Available:
Whilst these are the current support hours, we understand that flexibility is important. The weekday shifts can be adjusted within reason to suit the right applicant and the needs of the person being supported. For example, the Monday and Wednesday shifts could potentially be moved to alternative weekdays by mutual agreement.
The alternate Saturday shift is part of an established support arrangement and is therefore less flexible, although occasional adjustments may be possible with sufficient notice.
