Why I trust Oriflame skincare 🔬❤️
Recently I read about the investigation involving Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream.
Hong Kong authorities reported finding Sudan Red, a prohibited dye, in a sample of the product, and Singapore authorities have since been investigating and working with sellers to suspend sales and recall the product.
Now, I want to be fair: Medicube disputes the finding and says its own independent testing did not detect Sudan Red, so the investigation is still ongoing.
But reading about it made me think about something important...
How much do we actually know about the skincare we put on our faces every single day?
We live in a world where skincare can become famous overnight because it's viral on TikTok or Instagram.
Beautiful packaging.
Millions of views.
Influencers recommending it.
But great marketing doesn't necessarily tell us what is happening behind the scenes.
And THAT is one of the reasons I trust Oriflame.
Oriflame isn't a brand that appeared because of social media. It has been developing beauty products for almost 60 years, since 1967, with Swedish roots and decades of research behind it.
What particularly gives me confidence is its approach to safety.

That doesn't mean I'm claiming any skincare company is perfect.
It means that when I choose something I'm going to put on my face every morning and every night, I want more than a viral video telling me it's amazing.
I want science, safety standards, testing, experience and accountability behind that bottle.

Marketing may make me notice a product.
