I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but I’ve only gone and passed my masters level nurse prescribing course and I’m now a fully qualified INDEPENDENT NURSE PRESCRIBER!!!! 👩🏻⚕️📚🩺💊
What the actual hell?! Can someone pinch me because I genuinely feel like this is a dream. I never thought in a million years I would be capable of achieving this! To say this course has nearly finished me off would be a complete and utter understatement 🤣
The last nine months have been so stressful and I have felt completely burnt out with all the exams, assignments, clinical practice, studying, working full-time, attending university every week, running my business, and somehow still finding time for family and friends.
It wasn’t all plain sailing though as I failed the final assignment and had to resubmit it, which really knocked my confidence, but looking back now I’ve realised that setbacks don’t define you – it’s how you respond to them that matters and I never gave up 💪🏻
A huge thank you to the amazing friends I made on the course – Amy, Sophie, Georgina and Kirsty – for all the support, encouragement, laughs and pep talks along the way. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you! I’m also incredibly grateful to my family and friends for their support, patience, encouragement and understanding throughout this journey ❤️
I don’t think I’ve fully processed it yet, but right now I just feel total relief that all the hard work, stress, tears and sacrifices were worth it. It just goes to show that with determination, hard work and the support of good people around you, you can achieve things you never thought were possible!
