Calling all Far Forest residents, we want to hear from you 📣

Join us on 14 September at Far Forest Village Hall to view proposals for a new care home development at the former Bill Whites Nurseries site.

Your views are important and will help inform the next stages of the project!

You’ll be able to meet the project team, ask questions and share your feedback before plans move forward.

From seed to quiche 🌱

One of our residents has been busy growing a magnificent marrow in the gardens and it wasn't long before it found its way into the kitchen.

Our new chef Matthew, transformed it into a delicious homemade marrow quiche 🍽️

Speaking of Matthew, we are delighted to welcome him to the team!

He has already brought a fresh new energy to our kitchens, with healthy and nutritious meals and exciting dishes inspired by flavours from around the world.

Our residents have been enjoying favourites such as chicken katsu curry, along with a delicious pumpkin version for a veggie option.

We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu next!

We've been getting creative with some lovely flower arranging here at Casa Mia 🌸

It was so nice to see everyone showcasing their creativity while taking the time to support their mental health.

Healthy eating always plays an important role in supporting wellbeing, which is why we encourage our clients to get involved in preparing home-cooked meals and making positive food choices.

Our chef prepares balanced, nutritious meals every day, ensuring our clients can enjoy delicious food while developing healthy habits.

The vegetable patch has also been thriving recently with the help of some of our clients.

Together, we’ve been growing a range of fruits, vegetables and herbs, including cucumbers, runner beans, lettuce, parsley and more!

It’s been so lovely seeing our clients get their green thumbs involved.
