“I had my second baby earlier in the month, I was hoping for a VBAC, but unfortunately it didn’t quite go to plan. All of the team were fantastic and advocated for me and my baby. Tiffany was my midwife. She was so supportive and I am grateful for her care.
Thank you!”

“They were all fantastic but one in particular was the ‘then’ student midwife Maisy, coming in when she wasn’t scheduled, staying on later and being there for me in every way possible as a first time mum and I’m so proud and glad that my baby and I was able to help you gain experience and become the midwife you are. Please keep being the star you are and you are so loved ”

“Student Midwife Emily is absolutely incredible. She has been in a few of my midwife appointments and always entertained my 2 year old. I couldn’t thank her more for being that distraction for him when I am having my checks. When we got in the car to go he even said ‘see Emleee, buh bye Emleeeee’. You’ll be an amazing midwife!”

✨Celebrating our Team QEH Maternity✨

“Being a first time mum is a new journey and one that comes with a roller coaster of emotions. A supportive partner and family go so far, but a supportive network of midwives always go a long way too. I would like to say a huge thank you to Basit, for his care from being an antenatal patient, to supporting the beginning of labour and induction, and then caring for us postnatally. Basit goes above and beyond, and is a huge credit to the maternity team. I know for a fact he popped his head in a few times to check on me and my baby as he knew we were having a hard time with cluster feeding. His kindness and compassion shines through the work that he does. I would also like to thank both Micheala’s, Rhiannon and a few others that were shining faces while we had a difficult time.”
