Blessings to you all the Lammas, as we celebrate the end of the grain harvest.
It has been exceptionally hot and dry here in Norfolk and that has definitely impacted the farming community, so many of the fields around here were harvested weeks ago; what impact that will have on the price of food has yet to be determined, but it is a reminder that we must take better care of our planet, and be grateful for what she provides.

Traditionally this is a time to give thanks for your own abundance, while looking at what must be sacrificed or cut down for future growth. It’s a time to bake bread, hence the loaf sitting proudly on my alter, as we celebrate the end of the grain harvest with a feast, and it wouldn’t be out of place to wash it all down with a mug of ale.

Could this work for you, or maybe someone you know? This is an amazing shop that only opened a few months ago.
