Does it fit? YES! 🙌🏻
Is it broken? NO!
Does it need replacing? NO! 😂

School uniform shopping… the time of year when it’s VERY easy to get caught up in buying everything brand new because it’s a new school year! 🎒✏️

But before you start replacing everything, have a quick check through what you already have.

👕 Does the uniform still fit? Keep it.
🎒 Is the school bag still perfectly good? Use it.
✏️ Are there pens, pencils and stationery left from last year? Brilliant!
🥤 Water bottle still going strong? It doesn’t need replacing.

There can be so much pressure around back-to-school shopping, especially when the children see all the shiny new things in the shops and online.

But a new school year doesn’t have to mean everything needs to be new. 🧡

Replace what they’ve outgrown, what’s worn out or what they genuinely need — and give yourself permission to leave the rest!

It saves money 💷
It saves waste ♻️
And it saves us adding another unnecessary job to an already busy few weeks!

Use what you have, do what you can and that’s more than enough 🧡

When a situation starts to feel heavy… 🧡

Sometimes the best thing you can do is stay in your own lane and focus on what YOU are doing.

We can spend so much time thinking about what everyone else is doing, what they should be doing differently, what they’ve said, how they’ve reacted or what might happen next…

And before we know it, the whole situation feels even heavier.

You don’t always need to make a huge change.

Sometimes we just need to ask:

“What small, manageable adjustment can I make to make this feel a little lighter?”

That could be at home, at work, in a relationship or just within your everyday life.

Maybe it’s stepping back from something that isn’t yours to carry.

Maybe it’s putting a small boundary in place.

Maybe it’s changing your routine.

Maybe it’s asking for help.

Or maybe it’s simply deciding that you’re going to focus your energy on the things that you can actually control.

We can’t always change the situation or the people around us…

But we can look at what is within our control and make small adjustments that help life feel a little more manageable. 🧡

You don’t have to fix everything today.

Small changes can make heavy situations feel that little bit lighter.

This is exactly the kind of thing we can unpick together during coaching — finding realistic changes that work for your life.

If you feel like something is getting a little too heavy at the moment, get in touch for a free 15-minute consultation call.

I popped into the salon on my day off today to get a bit of painting done 🎨 and walked in to find this little surprise waiting for me 🥹🧡

Last week it was flowers… this week it’s gin! 😂🍸

I genuinely don’t know what I’ve done to deserve such a thoughtful, supportive team, but I am so incredibly grateful.

Running a business isn’t always easy, and there are so many things that happen behind the scenes that nobody sees. Having people around you who notice, who care and who make you feel appreciated means more than they probably realise.

I spend a lot of my time trying to support, encourage and look after everyone around me, so moments like this really do mean the world. 🥰

Thank you to my amazing team — not just for the lovely surprises, but for being the wonderful bunch of people that you are.

Feeling very lucky and very grateful. 🧡

P.S. I think they know me quite well… flowers one week, gin the next! 😂🍸

Good morning Saturday! ☀️🧡

The weekend is here 🙌🏻

Before we get caught up in everything we need to do, let’s focus on something we’re actually looking forward to…

What’s your ONE reason to smile this weekend? 😊

It could be something big, or something really simple…

☕ A slow morning and a coffee
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Time with people you love
🛋️ Having absolutely NO plans
🥂 Seeing friends
🌿 Getting outside
😴 A much-needed rest
💇‍♀️ A little time for yourself
📺 PJs, snacks and your favourite programme!

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that give us the biggest lift. 🧡

So tell me yours in the comments 👇

Not every relationship is meant to thrive… and that’s OK. 🧡

Sometimes two people just don’t see eye to eye.

It might be a mother-in-law, a sibling, a work colleague, a friend or someone else in your life that you simply find difficult to be around.

And sometimes, no amount of trying is going to turn that relationship into an amazing one.

It is what it is.

But that doesn’t mean it has to constantly cause stress, tension or an atmosphere either.

This is something we can explore during coaching — instead of focusing all our energy on trying to change the other person, we look at the small things you can put in place to make the relationship more manageable.

That might mean changing how much time you spend together, setting a boundary, communicating differently, choosing which conversations you engage in or simply accepting that this person isn’t going to be your person.

You don’t have to love everyone.

You don’t have to get along perfectly with everyone.

And you definitely don’t have to keep forcing a relationship to be something it isn’t.

Sometimes the goal isn’t to fix the relationship.

It’s simply to find a way for it to take up less of your energy and headspace. 🧡

This is just one of the many things we can work through together during coaching.

If you feel like certain relationships are taking up far too much space in your mind, get in touch for a free 15-minute consultation call.

“But what actually happens during a coaching session?” 🤔

I get asked this ALL the time… so let me show you! 🧡

I’ve had a couple of lovely clients who have kindly given me permission to record parts of their coaching sessions, so over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some little snippets with you.

These will give you a real insight into the conversations we have, the things we work through and what coaching with me actually looks like.

And one thing I really want you to know…

YOU are always in control.

You decide what we talk about and the direction our coaching takes.

At the beginning of each session, we look at where you are right now and what would be most helpful to focus on that day.

Whether you choose to have coaching weekly, fortnightly, monthly or simply as and when you feel you need it, your notes are still there for us to look back on and build from.

And we don’t try to tackle EVERYTHING at once! 🙈

We focus on the areas that are causing you the most stress, overwhelm or difficulty — the pain points.

Very often, when we start making small changes in those areas, other parts of life begin to naturally fall into place too. 🧡

If you’d like to see more real snippets from coaching sessions, follow my page — I’ll be sharing more.

And if you’re thinking, “Actually… I think I could do with some support,” get in touch and we can start with a free 15-minute consultation call. No pressure, just a chat.

And a huge thank you to the clients who have trusted me enough to allow me to share parts of their sessions. I really appreciate it. 🙏
