Every thought or movement of Mind affects the Qi that governs every physiological and spiritual process undertaken in our body. The dynamic movement of Qi responds to these thoughts by comparing it to a database of previous experiences in our mind that we have had before and resonating with those experiences by expressing a movement. Over time and if excessive these movements of energy can create physical symptoms. For example with long term grief often the voice weakens, the shoulders become rounded and posture collapses which can create a deficiency of Qi in the Lungs leading to coughs, shortness of breath, wheezing and tightness in the chest and throat.
