Hull Optimists Disability Swimming Club

Hull Optimists Disability Swimming Club We are a swimming club that teach adults and children using the Halliwick method. Based at Fredrick Holmes Special School, our sessions are Monday and Thursday.

Children classes 6pm-7pm and adult classes are 7pm-8pm. Cost Β£4 per swimmer & Β£1 per helper.

SURVIVOR SOLO SWIM CHALLENGE πŸ’™

A close friend of Pam and Alan, Nick Parkes, is taking on an incredible challenge β€” swimming the full length of Loch Ness! 🌊

Nick survived a sudden cardiac arrest in 2023 after his heart stopped during an open-water swimming competition. Now he’s using his second chance to take on this huge challenge and raise vital funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK. (Nick Parkes⁠)
