Bleed Kits are becoming more and more popular these days - which is brilliant news!! They’re very much needed and complete lifesavers - on a par with Defibs really!…..
The issue I have is that you really need to know HOW to use the items inside a bleed kit to make a difference in a life threatening Emergency. It’s no use having a Bleed Kit & not knowing how to use the equipment inside it!!!
It’s not like a Defib in that sense, as it doesn’t speak to you. It won’t tell you what to do!
I offer a short face to face Life Threatening Bleed course - just a couple of hours - which means you can learn what to do and actually get hands on practice and have a go with things such as haemostatic products, trauma dressings and tourniquets. I’ll even show you how you could improvise these items if you don’t have the real thing.
The course attached is also a fantastic FREE online alternative, though obviously you don’t get to have that hands on practice, but at least you’d have the knowledge…
