Healing isn’t always about something coming up once, releasing it, and it being gone forever. 🤍
Sometimes the same emotions, memories or patterns can return. Not because we’ve gone backwards or because the healing “didn’t work”, but because there may be another layer ready to be felt and released.
For me, healing feels less like one big release and more like a gentle unfolding.
Little by little, we meet the parts of ourselves shaped by our past experiences. We notice. We feel. We breathe. We soften. And we release what we’re ready to let go of.
Even before this retreat has officially begun, I’ve noticed old emotions and familiar themes beginning to surface. Instead of thinking, I thought I’d dealt with this,” I’m choosing to meet them with curiosity and allow my body to show me what it still needs.
Healing isn’t a destination we eventually reach.
It’s an ongoing relationship with ourselves — feeling, releasing, learning and remembering who we truly are beneath the conditioning, beliefs and experiences we’ve gathered along the way.
Layer by layer, we begin to let go of what no longer belongs to us and reconnect with the person underneath it all — coming home to ourselves. 🌿
Today I gave myself the space to do just that. To land. To rest. To meditate and ground. To listen to my body and breathe into the places where I could feel heaviness, allowing myself to soften and release what was ready to move.
And now, I feel a little lighter. 🤍
The retreat hasn’t officially begun… but the journey already has.
The healing journey continues. 🌿✨
