The Adventure Element team are in Eyri ready for the Alder Hey Children's Charity Wyddfa Challenge. Participants are streaming in registering for the big day tomorrow and the sun is peeking out.

We are looking forward to supporting fundraisers from Alder Hey Children's Charity, Claire House, CHICS, Owen McVeigh Foundation, Anthony Davies Bereavement, Ronald McDonald House. A whole host of fundraisers who have already worked hard to drum up support for these crucial causes.

Big smiles, many miles. Huge well done to our Race the Sun participants fundraising for Action Medical Research. Race the Sun Keswick is always extra fun as its on our doorstep and we love showing off our local surroundings.

"Hello from the land of the midge! We have several groups of students from Greshams School completing paddle and walking Gold Qualifying Expeditions.

Our paddlers are venturing on the Great Glen whilst our team of walkers hopped on a train ride to Corrour station on Rannoch Moor. They finished up with a very cold bothy night at Meanach bothy. Strong effort!

The final 2 days will be finishing in Fort Augustus!"

Our Race the Sun participants are storming up Skiddaw as part of todays challenge. Bike, hike and paddle is the name of the game and with almost 300 participants along the course, teams are racking up some mighty miles.

Plenty of bilberry picking and hiking into misty valleys taking place on our Open Expedition this week.

With Ben Ryle and Ben Keen on the ground as their instructors, our DofE participants have been quietly determined as they steadily and methodically pass through their expedition and demonstrate their abilities.

Kit is getting checked, washed, stored and counted. Ben and Paul are giving the power boat a blast after an epic Race the Sun over in Cheddar Gorge.

Fuelled by biscoff topped bananas, motivated by crucial fundraising for Action Medical Research, and spurred on by the glorious views.

The food stations and sandwich baskets have been popular, and our staff have been inspiring some smiles as participants reach the paddle phase of the Cheddar triathlon challenge.
