Three people from the same family have sadly died following a major incident in Shoreham today, police have confirmed.

Lovely end to a lovely weekend at work 🥰

I took my client out on his buggy for a little bit of fresh air and a change of scenery, which he really enjoyed. 🌿

We then finished off the evening by getting him involved in making his dinner — a lovely chicken tikka curry and rice! 🍛❤️

I love being able to make everyday moments enjoyable and give my clients the opportunity to get involved wherever possible. 🥰

Nina’s been super busy these last few days juggling work and the school holidays! 🥰

The kids have come along with her and even helped out with a few little lunch calls, which our lovely clients have absolutely loved! 🫶🏻

It’s so lovely seeing the clients’ faces light up when the children come in to say hello. 💕 Making those little moments part of the day makes such a difference! 🥰

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here lately! 🙈 With the school summer holidays and working hard, things have been a little chaotic! 😂

But I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all our lovely clients ❤️

Thank you for being so understanding and flexible — whether it’s rescheduling your cleaning calls, allowing us to bring our kiddies along while we prepare your lunches, or simply letting us have some much-needed time off. 🥰

It really is very much appreciated, and we’re so grateful to have such wonderful, understanding clients. ❤️

Now, with this heat, make sure you’re all drinking plenty and keeping hydrated! ☀️💧

Day off today… well, not quite a day off! 😂💻

Today is an admin day for me, getting everything behind the scenes organised and making sure everything is running smoothly at SLCare 🥰

📞 Checking in with clients
⏰ Sending reminders
💬 Answering enquiries
📝 Catching up on all those little admin jobs!

I may not be out on calls, but there’s still plenty to do behind the scenes! ❤️

💧 Why are electrolytes important?

Electrolytes such as sodium and potassium help the body maintain the right fluid balance and support normal muscle and nerve function. During hot weather, we can lose more fluids and electrolytes through sweating, so replacing them can be helpful. ☀️💦

We love finding different ways to encourage our clients to drink and stay hydrated especially those who may not naturally drink enough. 🥰

Keeping hydrated is such an important part of good care. ❤️

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here lately!

It’s been a very busy few weeks balancing work, arranging childcare, and keeping the kids entertained during the summer holidays. ☀️💛

I’m forever grateful to all of my wonderful clients and their families for being so understanding and flexible during this busy time. Your kindness and support mean so much.
