You’re losing weight… but you still feel like you’re walking through treacle.

That’s because weight loss doesn’t automatically fix what was making you feel like crap in the first place.

Poor sleep, under-fuelling, nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar dysregulation, digestive issues and chronic physiological stress can all leave your nervous system and body struggling, regardless of what the scales are doing.

I’m not anti GLP-1, HRT or peptides. I use and support tools like these where appropriate.
But I believe there’s an order of service.

Build the foundations. Address what’s driving dysfunction. Then look at what else could support you.

Because most women tell me they want to lose weight, but what they really want is to feel great AND feel good in their body.

There’s not much point looking lean if you still feel like sh*te.

I’m proof that you can work out, eat “clean,” do all the right things and still feel inflamed.

At 40, I was bloated, constipated and exhausted. My skin was a mess, my hormones felt chaotic and I didn’t recognise myself anymore.

My mistake?

Thinking my body needed more discipline.

So I trained harder, ate less and kept pushing through.

But my body didn’t need punishing. It needed support.

Everything changed when I stopped chasing symptoms and started supporting my whole body.

I improved elimination.
Nourished my body properly.
Supported my digestion, hormones and energy.
Regulated my nervous system.
And used fasting strategically, not as punishment.

That process became my 5F Method™:

FLUSH. FEED. FUNCTION. FAST. FREEDOM.

No starvation. No punishing workouts. No guessing.

Just the foundations your body needs to function properly again.

Comment ROOT and I’ll send you my symptom assessment to help uncover what could be driving your crazy hormones, fatigue, brain fog and inflammation.

10 things I swapped to go from bloated, puffy and inflamed... to feeling better than I did in my 20s.

1. Stopped punishing my body and started nurturing it.
2. Swapped overtraining for strength training, yoga and walking.
3. Ate for nourishment, not convenience.
4. Stopped fighting symptoms and started listening to them.
5. Prioritised liver support and proper elimination.
6. Focused on supporting my mitochondria and energy production.
7. Regulated my nervous system instead of living in stress.
8. Swapped processed foods for a Mediterranean way of eating.
9. Prioritised sleep and my circadian rhythm.
10. Walked after meals to support digestion, blood sugar and energy.

None of these changes were extreme. They were simple, consistent habits that allowed my body to do what it was designed to do.

Follow for more simple, practical ways to reduce inflammation and feel better in your 40s.

I already know what you’re thinking. I look good in both.

But that’s not the point.

What you don’t see is that my hormones were a mess. I had brain fog, extreme fatigue, constipation, severe bloating, inflamed and gained 11kg in what felt like overnight.

Doctors told me my labs were fine. Friends told me I was imagining it. Nobody could tell me what was wrong or how to fix it.

So I fixed myself.

And now, this is what I coach other women through.

Perimenopause symptoms that make you feel like your hormones are running wild. Weight gain that won’t budge. Digestive issues. Bloating. Fatigue. Brain fog. Poor sleep. Allergies. Itchy skin. Food sensitivities. Reflux. Skin flares. Autoimmunity. Inflammation.

If you relate to some or all of these symptoms, I’m speaking to you.

I hear you. I see you. And I can help you fix what’s driving it, so you can feel better in your 40s and beyond than you did in your 20s.

Comment “ROOT” to take the symptom assessment and let’s see what’s really going on.

Struggling with low energy, poor sleep and hormones that feel completely out of balance?

One of the first things I would do costs absolutely nothing.

Get outside into natural daylight for 10 to 20 minutes within an hour of waking. Stay out a little longer when it is dark or cloudy.

Morning light sets your circadian rhythm, the internal clock that regulates your cortisol, melatonin, energy, appetite, digestion and hormone signalling.

It tells your body when to feel awake, when to digest food and when to prepare for sleep later that evening.

It is simple.
It is free.
And your body needs this signal every single day.

Never getting ill doesn’t automatically mean your immune system is thriving.

Especially if you’re also exhausted, bloated, foggy, struggling with your hormones or feeling wired but tired.

Your immune system doesn’t work in isolation. It’s constantly communicating with your gut, nervous system, hormones and metabolism.
When your body is under ongoing physiological stress, immune function can be affected too.

So I’m not just asking “Do you get ill?”

I’m asking what are ALL your symptoms telling us about how your body is functioning?

Constipation isn’t something you should just put up with.

If it’s become your normal, it’s often a sign there’s something deeper going on.

Try this simple massage to help get things moving.

Save this for the next time you are constipated

Most women think stress is psychological.
But it’s physiological stress that’s often driving their symptoms.

Poor sleep. Blood sugar swings. Gut dysfunction. Hormonal changes. Overtraining. Inflammation. Constant rushing.

Your body doesn’t separate them. It simply carries the load.

Maybe you’ve become so adapted to it that it just feels... normal.

Do you find yourself saying:
“I just can’t sit down.”
“I’ve got too much to do.”
“I’m always busy.”
“That’s just my life.”

If so, your body may have been in survival mode for far longer than you realise.

And that could be one of the reasons you’re struggling to lose weight or why your symptoms aren’t improving.
