The Leatherhead team recently held a World Cup themed Team meeting!⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Alongside a homemade England flag Victoria sponge and plenty of snacks and treats to share, the Team played a new game they created called 'Bad Carers' — an interactive way to explore real Home Care scenarios. A little football gets passed around, and whoever catches it gives a deliberately incorrect answer to a scenario. The Team then talk through the correct approach together and recap the policy behind it — a memorable way to bring policies to life and make training really stick.

A fantastic session full of learning and teamwork. Well done to the wonderful Leatherhead Carers! 💛

☕✨ A truly heart warming moment to share!
Laura, Registered Manager of our Chobham and Woking branch, recently took one of our lovely clients out to scope out a new hair salon. While they were there, something wonderful happened — the client was spotted by a dear friend she's known for over 60 years! 💛

The two sat down together for a coffee and a proper catch up, sharing a beautiful moment that reminded us just how special these little chance encounters can be. 💜

Our Leatherhead Team recently headed over to a fantastic networking event hosted by Birchgrove, where they had the chance to connect with other local businesses and professionals working within the care sector.
It was such a great opportunity to build new relationships, share ideas and get to know the brilliant people making a difference in our community. A big thank you to Birchgrove for their warm hospitality, and the yummy treats! 🍪

💙 Staying connected to the people and places that matter most.

Moving into a nursing home doesn't have to mean leaving behind the things that bring joy.

Our incredible Carer, Sarah recently accompanied our former client, Daniel back to his local community centre so he could enjoy a game of table tennis with friends – something he'd loved for years. The laughter, friendly competition and familiar faces reminded everyone that care is about so much more than supporting physical needs.

It's about helping people stay connected to their passions, their friendships and the communities they call home.

Moments like these show the difference truly person centred care can make. Thank you so much Sarah for going the extra mile to help make life easier and brighter for Daniel.
