THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT JUNGLE ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŒฟ

The third time I sat with the medicine,
I didnโ€™t come looking for an escape.

I came looking for the places
I had buried beneath the years.

The grief.
The memories.
The old wounds.
The stories I had carried
long after they had finished serving me.

Six gates were opened.
Five drops of medicine were placed.
And somehow, with less,
I received more.

Much more.

The medicine moved through me
like a jungle storm
wild, ancient, uncompromising.

And somewhere between the purge
and the surrender,
between the breath and the silence,
I met her.

The Queen of the Night Jungle. ๐Ÿ†

My Black Jaguar.

My feminine power.
My shadow walker.
My protector.
My ally.

She walked beside me
through the places I was afraid to look.

She didn't ask me to be smaller.
She didn't ask me to run.

She stood beside me
while I felt it all.

And when something inside me broke open,
she reminded me:

You have survived this.
You are still here.
Now you are allowed to live.

There were emotions I didn't expect.
A release deeper than the body.

And somewhere in that darkness,
my mind became quiet.

For the first time in what feels like forever,
the noise softened.

The endless thinking.
The constant doing.
The need to fix, organise, plan, control.

Gone.

Or at least quiet enough
for me to hear something underneath it all.

Myself.

Just Heidi.

Sitting beneath the sky.
Breathing.
Listening.
Being.

And perhaps that is the medicine
I needed most.

Not becoming someone else.

But remembering who I already was.

I never used to believe
in spirit realms, guides or allies.

Not really.

But some things stop being beliefs
when they become a knowing.

And on that Monday,
I knew.

I wasn't alone.

The Black Jaguar walked with me.

The jungle medicine opened the door.

And I walked through it.

Not healed of everything.
Not finished.
Not suddenly free from every wound.

But lighter.

Clearer.

Softer.

Stronger.

More present.

More willing to let go.

And now there is only one thing
left on my bucket list...

To sit with these medicines
where they were born.

Deep in the jungle.

With the Indigenous people
who have carried these traditions
through generations.

To sit beneath the ancient trees,
with the songs, the smoke, the earth,
the medicine and the wisdom of the jungle.

Not as a tourist.

Not to take.

But to listen.

To learn.

To honour.

To surrender.

Until then,
I will keep walking with my Jaguar.

One foot in this world.
One foot in the spirit realm.

Heart open.

Feet rooted.

Eyes forward.

And remembering...

I don't need to become the woman I was searching for.

I only need to keep remembering
the woman I already am. ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Shape of My Breath

I stepped beyond the fear,
beyond the walls Iโ€™d known,
and found the woman waiting there,
the one Iโ€™d always been,
but hadnโ€™t fully owned.

I told my story,
not with shame,
but with courage, fire and pride.
I breathed through every chapter,
every wound,
every version of me Iโ€™d tried to hide.

And as I shared each breath,
my past became my power,
my wounds became my wisdom,
and my story became my voice.

I didnโ€™t just tell my journey,
I breathed it.
I lived it.
I reclaimed it.

And in that sacred space,
surrounded by those who came to witness,
I remembered exactly who I am.

๐ŸŒ‘โœจ Planting Seeds Beneath the Eclipse โœจ๐ŸŒ‘

Under a darkened moon, I gathered with two beautiful sisters, Angela and Susie, and simply allowed myself to be.

I brought my crystal sound bowls into a field and played them freely โ€” no agenda, no expectation, just sharing the medicine of sound beneath the sky.

And then came the beautiful moments I could never have plannedโ€ฆ

Strangers stopped.
Children listened.
Little hands learned to make the bowls sing.
Smiles were shared.
Kindness flowed.

And somehow, without trying, I planted a few more seeds. ๐ŸŒฑ

The New Moon reminds us that we don't always need to see what is growing beneath the surface. An eclipse invites us into the shadows โ€” to release what no longer belongs and make space for what is ready to emerge.

And perhaps that's exactly where I am right now.

Becoming.
Growing.
Opening.
Planting seeds simply by being unapologetically me.

My heart was opened.
My cup was filled.
My soul was reminded that when we share from a place of love, we never know whose life we might touch.

Sometimes the greatest magic is simply being yourselfโ€ฆ
and letting the right people find you. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฎโœจ

๐ŸŒ™โœจ Three ancient energies stand before you tonight...

Take a moment to breathe, quiet your thoughts, and let your intuition guide you.

Which one are you drawn towards?

๐“Ÿ 1 โ€” Thoth
๐Ÿ”ฑ 2 โ€” Shiva
โ˜€๏ธ 3 โ€” Apollo

Don't choose with your mind. Choose with your feeling.

The one you are naturally pulled towards may hold a message your soul is ready to receive.

โœจ Comment your number below, remember your choice, and return tomorrow morning when the messages are revealed.

Trust the pull. Trust the mystery. Trust what your soul already knows. ๐ŸŒ™

I spent too long mistaking silence for peace,
and shrinking my truth to keep others at ease.
I softened my edges, I swallowed my fire,
afraid that my truth would be called something higher
than love, than grace, than spiritual waysโ€ฆ
when sometimes the truth simply needs to be raised.

I am not here to be controlled,
nor moulded into something Iโ€™m not.
I will not surrender my voice
just to make somebody else feel safe in their box.

I didnโ€™t bend as a child,
and I wonโ€™t bend at forty-five.
I have walked through the shadows
and fought damn hard to come alive.

So if my truth makes you uncomfortable,
that is yours to explore, not mine to hide.
I can speak with love and still hold my boundary.
I can be soft without stepping aside.

This is not anger.
This is not war.
This is the woman I was
before I learned to ask permission for more.

And Iโ€™m calling her home now,
with tenderness, fire and grace.
No more shrinking.
No more silence.
No more leaving myself out of the space.

I am spiritual.
I am human.
I am wild.
I am free.

And no living being
gets to dictate
who I am allowed to be.

๐Ÿ”ฅ COLLECTIVE MESSAGE โ€” KALI ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Mother of the Universe............
โ€œI release all that doesnโ€™t serve me.
Itโ€™s time to be the truth of who I am.โ€

Kali arrives when the time for pretending is over.
She comes to remind us that not everything we carry is meant to come with us into the next chapter. Some attachments, old identities, beliefs, relationships, fears and versions of ourselves have simply reached their natural ending.

And Kali doesn't ask you to cling to them.
She asks you to let them burn. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This is a powerful time of shedding. Of cutting through illusion. Of releasing the stories that once kept you safe but now keep you small.

You may feel called to clear your space.
To speak your truth.
To set a boundary.
To walk away.
To finally say no.
Or perhaps simply to stop abandoning yourself for the sake of keeping others comfortable.

Remember โ€” destruction isn't always something to fear.

Sometimes destruction is liberation.
The old must sometimes fall away so that something more authentic can breathe.

Kali reminds us:
You don't need to become someone new.
You need to stop hiding who you already are.

So ask yourself today:

๐ŸŒ‘ What am I ready to release?
๐Ÿ”ฅ What truth have I been afraid to embody?
๐Ÿ–ค What part of me is ready to rise from the ashes?

Take a breath.
Feel your feet beneath you.
And when you're readyโ€ฆ
Release.
Breathe.
Rise.

The fire isn't here to destroy you.
It's here to set you free. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ–ค

๐ŸŒ™โœจ THE 4โ€“7โ€“8 BREATH | A PORTAL INTO STILLNESS โœจ๐ŸŒ™

This morning, we breathe with intention.

Not to fix ourselves.
Not to force anything.
But to create a little space between the noise of the world and the wisdom within us. ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒฟ

The practice is simple:

๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Inhale through the nose for 4
๐ŸŒ‘ Hold gently for 7
๐Ÿ”ฅ Exhale slowly through the mouth for 8

Repeat for 3โ€“4 rounds, or simply follow what feels right for your body.

That long, slow exhale is the magic here! Encouraging the body to soften, the mind to quieten and the nervous system to move towards a more restful state.

It can be a beautiful practice for stress, overwhelm, racing thoughts and preparing for sleep.

Think of it as a little ritual of release.

Breathe in ................. receive.
Hold .................. be still.
Breathe out ............... release.

And with every round, perhaps ask yourself:

โœจ What am I ready to let go of?
โœจ What do I need to receive?
โœจ Can I simply be here, in this moment?

A little reminder from me: never force the breath. If holding your breath feels uncomfortable, dizzying or causes anxiety, stop and return to your natural breathing. Breath holds aren't appropriate for everyone, particularly with certain heart or respiratory conditions, pregnancy, or other circumstances where breath retention may not be suitable. When in doubt, seek professional guidance.

Your breath is sacred.

Listen to it.
Trust it.
Let it guide you home. ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒ™

๐ŸŒ™โœจ Three Goddesses. Three energies. Three messages waiting to find you...

Take a moment. Breathe deeply. Quiet the mind and let your intuition lead you.

Which Goddess are you drawn to?

๐Ÿ”ฅ 1 โ€” Mahakali

๐“‚€ 2 โ€” Isis

๐ŸŒธ 3 โ€” Lalita

Don't overthink it. Notice which one catches your eye, stirs something within you, or simply feels familiar.

Choose your number below and keep it close to your heart.

Your Goddess's message will be revealed when you rise tomorrow morning. โœจ

Trust the pull. Trust the magic. Trust what your soul already knows. ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’œ

๐ŸŒฟโœจ HERB OF THE WEEK: LEMON BALM โœจ๐ŸŒฟ

Melissa officinalis ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ’š

This week's herb feels like a deep breath, a warm cup of tea and permission to simply soften.

Lemon Balm is one of those beautiful herbs that has been cherished for centuries for its gentle, calming nature. Its fresh lemony scent can instantly lift the spirits, while traditionally it has been used to soothe the nervous system, settle the digestion and bring a little more peace to the body and mind.

๐ŸŒฟ A LITTLE HERBAL HISTORY

Lemon Balm has been used medicinally for more than 2,000 years.

The ancient Greeks and Romans valued it as a calming and uplifting herb, while medieval herbalists used it for everything from digestive discomfort to nervous tension.

Its botanical name, Melissa, comes from the Greek word for bee ๐Ÿ because bees absolutely adore its tiny flowers.

In fact, lemon balm was traditionally planted around beehives to encourage bees to stay.

๐ŸŒฟ WHAT IS LEMON BALM GOOD FOR?

๐Ÿ’š Calm & relaxation
Traditionally used to settle nervous tension and promote a sense of calm.

๐Ÿ˜ด Rest & sleep
A lovely evening herb when you're feeling wired, restless or simply struggling to switch off.

๐Ÿง  Mind & mental clarity
Traditionally associated with soothing an overactive mind and supporting concentration and mental wellbeing.

๐Ÿซ– Digestion
Can be helpful for occasional bloating, wind and digestive discomfort, particularly when the tummy is affected by stress.

โค๏ธ The emotional heart
Lemon Balm has a long history as a "heart comforter" in traditional herbalism, particularly during times of emotional upset.

๐ŸŒฟ Antioxidant properties
The plant contains a variety of beneficial compounds with antioxidant activity.

๐ŸŒฑ HOW CAN WE USE IT?

๐Ÿซ– Herbal Tea

One of the simplest ways to enjoy Lemon Balm. Use fresh or dried leaves and steep in freshly boiled water for around 5โ€“10 minutes.

Perfect for a quiet moment in the evening.

๐Ÿซ™ Tincture

Lemon Balm can be prepared as an alcohol-based herbal extract and traditionally taken for its calming and digestive properties.

๐Ÿฏ Herbal Honey

Fresh Lemon Balm leaves can be gently infused into honey, creating a beautiful sweet herbal preparation.

๐Ÿ› Herbal Bath

Add fresh or dried leaves to a warm bath and allow the beautiful lemony aroma to create a relaxing, restorative experience.

๐ŸŒฟ Culinary Herb

The fresh leaves are delicious chopped into fruit salads, desserts, dressings and summer drinks.

๐ŸŒฑ TOPICAL USE

Lemon Balm has also traditionally been used externally in creams, balms and infused preparations for the skin.

โœจ THE HERBAL GOODNESS

Lemon Balm contains a fascinating collection of plant compounds, including:

๐ŸŒฟ Rosmarinic acid โ€“ an antioxidant polyphenol found in several aromatic herbs.

๐ŸŒฟ Citral & citronellal โ€“ aromatic compounds responsible for much of its fresh lemon fragrance.

๐ŸŒฟ Flavonoids โ€“ plant compounds with antioxidant activity.

๐ŸŒฟ Essential oils โ€“ contributing to its distinctive uplifting aroma.

๐Ÿ DID YOU KNOW?

โœจ The name Melissa means bee in Greek.

โœจ Bees are so attracted to Lemon Balm that beekeepers have traditionally used it around hives.

โœจ Lemon Balm belongs to the mint family, Lamiaceae.

โœจ It has tiny white or pale flowers that appear in summer and are loved by pollinators.

โœจ Give it a little space in your garden because it can spread enthusiastically!

โœจ Crushing the leaves releases that gorgeous lemon scent.

โœจ It has traditionally been associated with longevity, happiness and a cheerful heart.

๐ŸŒ™ THE WITCHY & MAGICAL SIDE

Lemon Balm carries beautiful energy for workings around:

๐Ÿ’š Love
๐ŸŒฟ Healing
โœจ Happiness
๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Peace
๐Ÿ Abundance
โค๏ธ Emotional healing
๐ŸŒ™ Protection

It can be incorporated into herbal baths, teas, spell jars, altar offerings, incense blends and rituals intended to bring peace, sweetness and emotional restoration.

There is something incredibly beautiful about working with a plant whose very name is connected to the beeโ€”a creature associated with community, abundance, fertility and the sweetness of life.

๐ŸŒฟ THE ALCHEMIST OF LIFE & BREATH REFLECTION

Perhaps this is exactly the medicine we need sometimes.

Not another thing to chase.

Not another mountain to climb.

Not another problem to solve.

Just a moment to breathe.

Lemon Balm reminds us that healing can be gentle.

That rest is productive.

That softness isn't weakness.

And that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop, place our hands upon our heart, breathe deeply and simply say:

โ€œI am safe to slow down.โ€

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‹ This week's reminder:

Soften. Breathe. Rest. Receive.

Your body doesn't always need you to push harder.

Sometimes it simply needs you to listen. ๐Ÿ’š

โš ๏ธ A LITTLE SAFETY NOTE

Lemon Balm is generally well tolerated in traditional food and tea preparations. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a thyroid condition, or take regular medication, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using concentrated medicinal preparations.

๐ŸŒฟ Until next Monday, may your roots run deep and your spirit remain wild. ๐ŸŒฟ
