Have you had a previous Caesarean birth?

As you think about your options for a future birth, you may have questions, mixed feelings, or want more information.

Join our online education session led by a midwife and obstetrician, where you'll receive balanced information about birth options after a previous Caesarean, have the opportunity to ask questions, and explore what feels right for you and your family.

We recognise that previous birth experiences can affect how people feel about future births, and you're welcome to attend whether your previous experience was positive, challenging, or somewhere in between.

Feedback from previous attendees includes:
💬 "Really helpful session for someone very undecided about birth options after a previous caesarean."
💬 "The session felt both personable and purposeful."

We are supporting the University of Leeds to share this research opportunity and would encourage you to take part.

Being active looks different for every woman. For some, it’s getting out for fresh air. For others, it might be light movement at home or finding small ways to stay active within a busy routine.

Even gentle, regular movement can support both physical and emotional wellbeing across different stages of life.

The MAMA-Move study at the University of Leeds is exploring how Muslim women across the UK experience physical activity, and how faith, culture, and everyday life influence what feels realistic and accessible.

The aim is to use these insights to inform more inclusive and culturally appropriate approaches to supporting physical activity for Muslim women.

We’d really value your perspectives. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous👉 https://tinyurl.com/Mama-Move-Survey

Your Pregnancy Vaccines Timeline 🗓️

👶 1st Trimester (0–12 weeks)
💬 Speak to your maternity team about vaccines.

👶 2nd Trimester (13–27 weeks)
💉 Whooping cough – usually given between 16–32 weeks, often around your 20-week scan.

👶 3rd Trimester (28–40+ weeks)
💉 RSV – usually given around your 28-week appointment.

Seasonal Vaccines - During autumn and winter, you will also be offered the flu vaccine. You can have it at any stage of pregnancy, the sooner the better

✅ Why vaccines matter
Vaccines in pregnancy help protect babies against different diseases as the protection you develop passes through the placenta to the baby. This protection from birth is important as babies are more likely to be very ill and to need hospital care if they catch these diseases in their first weeks and months of life.

It is important to have your vaccines at the right time in every pregnancy to give you and your baby the best protection, but you can have your vaccines up until you give birth,

Pregnant women and young babies are at higher risk of becoming seriously ill if they catch flu. Getting vaccinated helps protect you and your baby during your pregnancy and continues to protect your baby after they are born.

These vaccines are offered free by the NHS and are thoroughly tested to assess how safe and effective they are. Common side effects of vaccines don’t usually last long and are mild, including an aching arm, feeling tired and a headache.

👩‍⚕️ Speak to your midwife, GP or trusted health professional for more info.
