A little about Craniosacral Therapy (CST) š“
In simple terms, Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that works to rebalance the horseās central nervous system while releasing restrictions in the fascia.
By doing this, we help restore the natural flow of cranial rhythm and vital fluids around the brain and spinal cord ā creating the right conditions for the body to heal and release internal stress.
CST works by opening restrictions within the fascial system and encouraging subtle movement within the cranial bones, influencing the flow of cerebrospinal fluid throughout the body.
CST is a powerful yet incredibly soft approach.
Unlike many hands-on therapies, it requires little to no pressure.
Instead, itās about holding space where the body shows restriction ā and allowing the horse to guide the process.
I work with the responses your horse gives me, reading the signals in their body to gently release tension theyāve stored over time.
Because horses donāt just store things physicallyā¦they store experiences too.
Itās all there ā mapped through the body.
You just have to know how to read it.
CST can feel difficult to understand until youāve experienced it or seen it in action,
But once you do ā you canāt unsee it.
Horses are deep emotional processors.
They need space.
They need time.
Just like we do.
This work blends beautifully alongside chiropractic care and massage.
If youāre taking a rehabilitative approach with your horse, CST often becomes an essential part of their routine.
Craniosacral Therapy can support:
⢠Physical and emotional tension
⢠Facial imbalances
⢠Sensitivity around the ears and poll
⢠Mouth / TMJ tension
⢠Nervousness and anxiety
⢠Headshaking
⢠Head shyness
I take a whole-horse approach using gentle, effective techniques that work with your horse ā not against them.
