Really excited to see this launch in Leeds 💙💚💛

Challenging stigma is such an important part of helping people feel able to talk about mental health and seek support.

Please do give them a follow and keep an eye out for ways to get involved.

This , we are so excited to launch our new brand Changing the Narrative, the new home of challenging mental health stigma in Leeds!

We are a city-wide partnership, led by Touchstone and the Leeds Public Mental Health team, and we are working together, with the people of Leeds, to change the narrative around mental health and encourage positive conversations across our communities, workplaces and health care settings.

Our new logo, name, and branding have been co-designed with people from local communities and workplaces across the city, shaped by the voices and journeys of people with lived experience. It is built on the core values of inclusivity, connection, collaboration and hope – and these are the things we want to build and share across our wonderful city!

Stay tuned to learn how you can find out more and get involved.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week (11–17 May 2026) 💚💜

This year’s theme is Take Action, focusing on the small steps we can all take to support our own mental health and the wellbeing of those around us.

Taking action might look like:
✨ reaching out to someone you trust

MindWell Leeds has information on its website about self-care, supporting others, and how to find mental health support in Leeds whenever you need it.

This week is Deaf Awareness Week (4–10 May 2026) 💚💜

It’s a chance to recognise the experiences of deaf people and people with hearing loss, and to think about the everyday barriers that can exist — from communication challenges to accessing support and services.

MindWell has refreshed our page focused on mental health support for deaf people, bringing together useful information and signposting in one place.

This page may be helpful for deaf people, people with hearing loss, and anyone supporting others.

Small steps in understanding and communication can help make services more inclusive for everyone.

Find accessible mental health support in Leeds if you are Deaf, deaf, or Deafblind, including BSL-friendly services, crisis help, GP support options and local organisations offering community and wellbeing support.

Bank holidays can give some people a bit of extra time or breathing space – but they can also bring pressure to be doing something “fun” or social. For some people, that might not feel right, or might not be possible.

Whatever your plans (or lack of plans) this weekend, you’re allowed to prioritise what feels good for you.

If you need support over the Bank Holiday, MindWell can help you find local and national services, all in one place.
