🏉 When people think about life after professional sport or military service, the focus is often on retirement.

But for many former athletes and military personnel, the reality is more complex.

Some need short-term support, some need longer-term care, and others need space to recover, reconnect and find purpose again.

At Tempus, we believe support should reflect real life, not a one-size-fits-all model.

That’s why Tempus Villages are being developed as a first of their kind: specialist communities designed around respite, recovery, long-term living and meaningful connection for former athletes and military personnel. 💪

Who are Tempus Group Villages?

Tempus Group Villages was founded with a simple belief: that former sports and military professionals deserve more than care alone.

We are creating communities centred around dignity, purpose, connection and wellbeing, supporting individuals through long-term supported living, respite and recovery care, while providing a safe and welcoming environment where people can continue to live fulfilling lives beyond their careers.

Our first Tempus Village is being developed near York, marking the beginning of a vision to redefine specialist support and create communities where people can truly thrive.

🚀 Another busy week at Tempus.

We’ve welcomed new faces to the Tempus family, including Dean Stott MBE as an Ambassador and Adam Wilkinson to our UK group. We’ve also had inspiring conversations with Clarke Carlisle, alongside meetings with partners, ambassadors and researchers who share our vision.

This week brings more exciting opportunities as we continue to strengthen partnerships across sport, mental health, education, research and community development.

Meanwhile, our community activities continue with games evenings, dance classes and opportunities for meaningful social connection.
