🌟 We’re finalists! 🌟

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Full Circle Funerals has been named a finalist in the Business in the Community Award at the Business Awards 2026! 🥳

Being part of our local communities has always been a huge part of who we are. From bereavement support and community groups, to workshops, fundraising, partnerships and simply being there when people need us, we believe being a local business means giving something back to the communities we’re privileged to serve.

To be recognised alongside some of the brilliant businesses doing great things across Harrogate and the surrounding area is a real honour.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, worked with us, attended our events, recommended us and helped us become part of the community over the years. 💚

And, of course, congratulations to all of the other finalists! We’re looking forward to celebrating with you all. 🥂

Fingers crossed for the big night! 🤞

What a climb can achieve! 🧗‍♀️💚

We’re delighted to celebrate the fantastic competition and fundraising efforts for Saint Michael's Hospice through the recent climbing competition at Harrogate Climbing Centre (Live For Today Climbing Centre) which we were proud to sponsor.

It was a great month of climbing, competition and community, and it has helped raise valuable funds for an organisation that provides such important care and support to local people and their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, cheered people on and helped make the event such a success. And of course, thank you to the team at Harrogate Climbing Centre for putting it all together.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in supporting such a brilliant local cause. ❤️

Climb high. Give back. Make a difference. 🧗‍♂️💚

10 years of Full Circle – Changing what a funeral can look like 💚

When Full Circle started in 2016, we wanted to do things a little differently.

Over the last 10 years, we've seen more families asking questions, exploring different options and looking for funerals that feel personal to the person who has died.

We've introduced natural materials, greener choices, more ways to personalise a funeral, spaces where families can spend time together, and opportunities to talk more openly about death and bereavement.

But doing things differently doesn't mean leaving tradition behind.

We still arrange the elements of a funeral that families have valued for generations — traditional coffins, hearse and limousine arrangements, church services, hymns, orders of service, flowers, graveside ceremonies and all the familiar rituals that can bring comfort and meaning at an incredibly difficult time.

Because sometimes, traditional is exactly what feels right.

And sometimes, families want to create something completely different.

Often, it's a mixture of the two.

For us, it's never been about telling people what a funeral should look like. It's about listening, explaining the choices available and helping each family find what feels right for them.

Ten years on, we're still learning, still listening and still finding ways to make a difficult time easier.

Different when you want it. Traditional when you need it. Always centred around you. 💚

There are lots of ways to choose a resting place for ashes — and sometimes, something simple and natural feels just right. 🌿

Our natural material scatter tubes, made from willow, bamboo and seagrass, offer a beautiful way to hold ashes before they are scattered somewhere meaningful.

They’re understated, tactile and made from natural materials — giving you another choice when thinking about how you’d like to remember someone.

You can find out more about our scatter tubes, along with prices and our wider range of funeral options, on our website.

Planning ahead, at your own pace 💚

Talking about what happens after we die isn’t always easy, but making your funeral wishes known can bring real peace of mind — for you and for the people you love.

A funeral plan with Full Circle gives you the opportunity to think about the things that matter to you, make decisions in advance and take some of the pressure away from your family when the time comes.

We’ll talk things through with you without pressure or jargon, helping you create a plan that feels right for you.

Because planning ahead isn’t about focusing on death — it’s about making a difficult time easier for those left behind.

Why did we choose the name Full Circle?

Ten years ago, we chose a name that felt right for what we wanted to create.

For us, it was never just about death.

It’s about the whole journey of a life – the people we meet, the relationships we build, the memories we make and the stories that stay with us.

And when someone dies, it can feel as though everything has been turned upside down.

Our role is to help bring some sense of order to that difficult time. To guide families through the practical things, while making space for the personal, the emotional and the meaningful.

Over the last 10 years, we’ve come to understand our name in even more ways.

We’ve seen families return to us years later to help another person that has died that are special to them.

We’ve supported people at the beginning of their funeral planning journey and then, many years later, been there when those plans were needed.

We’ve built relationships with families, local organisations, celebrants, hospices, artists, community groups and so many others – connections that really have come full circle.

And now, as we look ahead to the next 10 years, that name still feels just as relevant as it did in 2016.

Full Circle. A name, a philosophy, and a journey we’re incredibly proud to continue. ❤️

Our doors are open to four-legged friends 🐾

We know that during bereavement, the people around you matter enormously — and sometimes, that includes the four-legged ones too.

That’s why all of our Full Circle services are dog friendly. 🐶💚

Animals can be such an important source of comfort and companionship. They can help us feel less alone, encourage us to get outside, give us a reason to keep a routine and simply be there when words aren't enough.

And we know it can be important for them too. Dogs can notice changes in our emotions and routines, and they can experience loss and change in their own way.

So, if your dog is an important part of your family and you’d like them with you, bring them along. Whether you're visiting us to talk about a funeral, coming in for support, or simply popping by for a chat, they’re welcome.

Because sometimes, making a difficult time easier means having a wagging tail by your side. 🐾

A gentle way to return ashes to nature 🌿

For some families, choosing what to do with ashes is an important part of saying goodbye.

A scatter tube can offer a simple and thoughtful way to carry ashes to a favourite place before they are scattered – whether that’s somewhere meaningful in the countryside, by the coast, or simply a place that holds special memories.

Our scatter tubes are made from sustainable materials and are designed to make carrying and scattering ashes.

It’s one of those small details that can make a difficult time easier.

If you’d like to find out a little more, you can take a look at our scatter tubes and other memorial items on our website.
