Meet team Colton!

I'm Dani, the Home Manager.

I have worked in care homes since 2002 and have progressed through the industry, starting as a carer and working my way up to Home Manager. This June, I will be celebrating my 5th year as Home Manager, a milestone I am incredibly proud of.

My passion has always been providing high-quality care and supporting both residents and staff to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Outside of work, I have a fascination with America and American culture, and I enjoy learning about the country and its people. I am also a huge sports fan and love following a wide range of sports. I am a season ticket holder for the Leeds Rhinos and am currently on the waiting list for season tickets at Leeds United.

I have been married for 18 years and have two children, aged 20 and 15, who keep me busy when I'm not at work.

Fun fact: I once appeared as an extra on the TV show Emmerdale!

To make the occasion even more memorable, she received over 100 birthday cards from kind-hearted people near and far, helping make her day extra special! 💌✨

🐑 A Very Special Visit from Baby Lambs! 🐑

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and cuddles as we welcomed some adorable baby lambs into our home!

Residents had a wonderful time meeting, stroking, feeding and spending time with these fluffy little visitors, bringing back lovely memories of springtime and life on the farm for many. 🌼

Also some little Guinea pigs came for lap cuddles 🥰

Animal visits always bring such joy, comfort, and conversation, and this visit was no exception — there were smiles all around! 😊

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this special visit possible. We think it’s safe to say the lambs were a huge hit! 🐑💕

🎉 The Market Grand Opening 🎉

What a fantastic day celebrating the grand opening of our new Marketplace here at the care home! ✨

We were truly honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor of Leeds, who officially opened this wonderful new space for our residents, families, and community to enjoy. 🎀

The Marketplace has been created to bring people together, encourage independence, and provide a warm, welcoming place filled with choice, connection, and community spirit. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to make today so special — we look forward to creating many happy memories here! 🥳
