When people say laser can’t do much for deep creases or long-standing scarring, this is the moment I smile politely and wheel out results like this. One treatment. Eight weeks. Skin that looks refreshed, smoother, softer, and more uniform.

This lovely patient came to us wanting genuine change rather than a quick fix. We used UltraClear Fully Ablative Laser Resurfacing for the lower face, combined with targeted resurfacing of two old reconstructive scars after previous skin cancer surgery. As neat as the scars were, there’s unfortunately still a lot of stigma with facial scarring so anything we can do to make people feel more confident is going to be a winner. We decided to do the scars but also help tighten and rejuvenate the lower third to help her harmonise with the upper two thirds which time has preserved so nicely.

The skin quality shift after the one session is dramatic (you only need one treatment). Texture tightened. Fine lines softened. Wrinkling reduced. Scarring blended. All from a single session. It really is the closest thing we have to a one and done rejuvenation when used correctly and on the right patient.

Those etched-in upper lip lines that won’t shift with filler? 🤷‍♂️

This isn’t just ageing.
It’s not always smoking either 🚭 (despite what everyone thinks).
