"My aunt was discharged to St Georges following a fall and a brief spell in hospital, to be assessed as to whether she was capable of continuing independent living. Unfortunately this was not to be, because she also had dementia. But from the moment she arrived, the care team were so welcoming and accommodating.
Beyond providing support with the daily tasks, her carers were compassionate, patient, helping her feel safe.
She became more active, engaged and involved and enjoyed the social events. St Georges is very clean, light and bright, enabling both communal and individual living. The relationship was not only with my aunt, but also with my dad and myself and provided a major source of comfort during challenging times with her dementia"
