🫶 After 36 incredible years at our surgery and an extraordinary 45‑year nursing career we are celebrating the retirement of our amazing diabetes nurse, Andrea. 👑

We continue to be extremely short‑staffed within our clinical team today due to multiple unexpected absences.

Although we have secured additional cover for the coming days to help reduce pressure and maintain appointment availability, this was unfortunately not possible at such short notice for today.

All affected appointments have now been rescheduled.

Sadly, we are experiencing high levels of staff absence across our clinical team today.

All affected appointments have been re‑arranged, but overall availability is severely reduced.

We have notified all relevant services of the situation and are working to secure additional clinical cover as quickly as possible.

BLS training complete!

Yesterday every member of our surgery team — clinical and non‑clinical — refreshed their Basic Life Support skills.

Why train everyone?

Because in an emergency, the first person on the scene might be anyone.

Ensuring all staff can recognise and respond to a cardiac arrest helps us keep our patients safe every day.

Proud of our team for their hard work and dedication.
