If you have an AXA or Aviva health insurance policy, you may be able to use your counselling cover to access therapy with me at Elmsleigh Counselling.

I offer psychotherapy counselling for adults, providing a confidential space to talk through whatever is going on — whether that’s anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, relationships, life changes or simply feeling a bit stuck.

ChatGPT has its uses… but therapy probably shouldn’t be one of them. 😂

Sometimes you don’t need another list of coping strategies, a diagnosis after three sentences, or 17 bullet points explaining your entire existence.

Sometimes you just need a real person to talk things through with — properly.

Today is Semicolon Day.

A semicolon is used when a sentence could end—but doesn’t.
That’s what this day represents: the choice to continue, even when it would’ve been easier not to.

Some battles don’t look like battles.
They look like getting out of bed when your mind is heavy.
They look like answering messages when you want to disappear.
They look like breathing through moments that feel too big to hold.

If today feels hard, you don’t have to solve everything.
