A day full of community spirit here at Beauleigh Court!

We started with the wonderful Anna from the Blair Dance Academy who led a hip hop exercise dance class - residents loved having lots of fun whilst doing exercise, it was certainly a hit!

In celebration of International Dog Day, we invited relatives and friends for a Beauleigh Court dog walk this morning along the Marine Parade. The sun was shining and residents really enjoyed spending time with our very special furry guests! 🐾🐾

This afternoon we welcomed back Father Myles from Saint Clement, Leigh - some residents took part in a church service, today's service being all about Jonah and the whale.

We love welcoming our community into our home and we look forward to seeing you again soon 😊

We welcomed back our lovely gentleman TIME immersive music at Beauleigh Court 🎶💃🕺 What an incredible atmosphere! All our residents were singing, dancing and having so much fun. The energy was absolutely amazing, with plenty of smiles, laughter and wonderful memories made together! ❤️

Another weekend with lots going on at Beauleigh Court... We started the weekend with a quiz on childhood toys, games & films, with the wonderful Captain Phillip winning!

We then had a cheese & wine tasting event where residents got the chance to try English wines paired with British cheeses. It's safe this activity went down a treat 😁

Some residents also enjoyed a trip to Saint Clement, Leigh Church for Sunday service, who always give us such a warm and friendly welcome.

We then finished the weekend with an informative workshop on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as watching an action film in the cinema room.

A Creative Couple of Days 🎨🎯

Over the past couple of days, our residents have enjoyed a fantastic mix of arts, crafts, games and music! 🎨✨

We got creative with some heart-shaped sponge painting, followed by plenty of indoor fun, including velvet darts, beer no pong and ping pong! 🏓🎯

Our residents also got their minds working with a game of Chase the Jack alongside our Head Chef, Marcus — a firm favourite that everyone loves to play! 🧠👏

To finish things off, we turned up the music and had a fabulous 70s disco! 🕺💃 All of our residents got involved and danced the afternoon away — what a brilliant time was had by everyone! 🎶✨

Today, Reece our Customer Relations Manager and our lovely resident Doris headed out to host a stall at the Southend District Pensioners Open Forum! 💙

It was a fantastic afternoon meeting new people, making connections and spreading the word about all that Beauleigh Court has to offer.

Today we were honoured to be invited to the wonderful Prittlewell Bowls Club in Priory Park. Gary and the team were brilliant hosts and couldn't have made us feel more welcome!

Residents also took part in a photography workshop this morning where they had the chance to take their own amazing photos, including portraits of one another and some selfies with staff and family.

We finished off the day with a fun game of velcro darts in the cafe and reading together as part of story club. Another day full of fun at Beauleigh Court!

Over the weekend, we had an action-packed time filled with games including Jenga, Snakes & Ladders, and Higher or Lower! 🎲 We also enjoyed cupcake decorating as part of our Afternoon Tea Week theme, getting creative with lots of colourful and delicious designs. 🧁✨

We had our stretches and sensory afternoon before getting ready for our afternoon tea and dinner dance, which was filled with singing, dancing and plenty of laughter! 💃🎶

We also enjoyed watching the classic film Casablanca 🎬, took part in the Sanders Steppers walking group, and came together for our weekly prayer group. 🙏

It was a fun, creative and engaging weekend filled with activities, connection, laughter and lots of wonderful memories! 🌟

Yesterday at Beauleigh Court we started the day with a wonderful morning walk along the Marine Parade followed by a competitive game of cards. During the afternoon, residents learnt all about the history of the British afternoon tea, and finally, we finished the afternoon by having a leaving party for the lovely Nicola! Nicola has been a fantastic barista and we wish her all the best going forward. Another fun-filled day at Beauleigh!

Today we had a wonderful Blue Light Afternoon Tea to celebrate and thank our amazing NHS healthcare workers. 💙🫖🍰

Our residents enjoyed the delicious afternoon tea, followed by a fun afternoon-tea-themed quiz! There was plenty of laughter and friendly competition, the main was a bottle of bubbly and a sweet treat. 🎉🥂🍬

Today we also celebrated our wonderful Customer Relations Manager Reece, turning 21! 🎉 Happy 21st Birthday! 🎂🥳
