Farha offer speciality coffee (for the coffee enthusiasts - this includes pour overs and filters). Now offering a brunch menu for weekends and casual bites/bakery goods in the weekday. Open Thursday to Sunday, we’ve seen queues already for their pastries alone. Check out the Shakshuka, a slow cooked spicy tomato pastry with feta and egg 🍳 a perfect Sunday snack post Drapers park with the wee ones or dog walk.

World Cup had kicked off and summer incoming again ☀️. William the Fourth Leyton have got a late licence to stay open for the first Scotland National Team match vs. Haiti in the early hours of Sunday morning. They’ve got their gorgeous garden open to keep you perky during daylight, pizza and team pouring some 🍻. More World Cup spots coming up to support 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and all the other teams 🌍

We love .london they furnish the homes of women and children experiencing furniture poverty using items that would otherwise end up on landfill. Those leaving domestic abuse are often left with no furnishings and with minimal finances.
This weekend May 30th
are hosting a Spring Sale .london in Argyll Way next to and 🙏🏼

The items for sale include furniture, candles, homeware, lighting, body/bath oils garden furniture etc from brands like and lots of brands are 75% off🚨 all proceeds from the sale go are in aid of work.
Suggested £5 entry which goes to the cause

Have you been to the new V&A East yet?
A quick nip from Leyton in it has five floors exploring how creativity changes the world, rooted in the communities and voices that are shaping global culture.

The free permanent exhibition Why We Make connect makers from art, architecture performance and design displaying 500 objects. The fashion elements were our favourite.

Loved their first landmark exhibition, The Music is Black: A British Story, tracing British culture through Black British music from 1900 to now - featuring personal objects from Little Simz, JME and Joan Armatrading, and photography from Jennie Baptiste, Eddie Otchere, Dennis Morris and more.

There are loads of drop in artists workshops, talks screenings to check out and a great little cafe called Jikoni. And there is also AIR CON in there, stay cool guys.

We love Carnival on the High Road. Their smorgasbord of stock always delivers the most random of purchases and panic buys. Comment, tag or DM us with any other High Road heroes.

Local this weekend? The annual jumble trail takes place on Sunday from 11-3pm and sure to be a source of some finds 🩵❤️💙💛💚

.works.east is a lovely hidden spot in E10 which is a hybrid studio, art gallery, exhibition space, strength studio and coffee spot. Founded by , this secret studio has a hive of activity and events.

Tonight closes her exhibit “Whispers of the Motherland: the language of beads”. She will be hosting an open evening 6-9pm “The exhibition is more than just jewellery - it is heritage, identity, memories and art woven together through beads and storytelling.”

The evening will feature Q&A with actor and director .babalola with full details on .works.east page
