There’s something so special about having treatments while I’m away. At home, I rarely get the time to have one myself, so it’s a real opportunity to relax, learn, and experience different massage techniques and treatment styles.

We enjoyed a lovely couples treatment, and throughout it I found myself thinking, “Oh, that’s interesting… I do that too,” or “I might try that,” and “I approach that a little differently.” It reminded me why I’m so passionate about this industry and reignited my dream of one day creating my own salon and spa.

For now, though, I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built and the welcoming environment I’ve created for my clients. One of the nicest compliments I heard afterwards was, “Mum, your head massage was so much better.” While that was lovely to hear, it also reminded me that every therapist brings something unique, and every client has different preferences.

What I believe sets my treatments apart is the personal connection I build with my clients. Taking the time to get to know each individual means I can tailor every treatment to their needs, creating an experience that feels truly personal rather than just another appointment.

That, for me, is what makes all the difference. 💛

Decisions….

Sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself when you get the chance. It’s also good to experience new treatments whilst away and relaxing ❤️
