We had a great morning at the Tetcott Estate Fun Ride yesterday morning. Both Dotty and Darcy were so good as always, super pleased with Darcy as it was her first fun ride and she coped with everything beautifully😇 Dotty on the other hand was a bit wired to start with as she’s not been out to something like that for over a year and she was a little excited but did settle after five minutes and I was just so happy to be back out with her after everything she’s been through 🥹❤️

Bella also had a great day out jumping at The Grange with Anna Drury Showjumping🤩 so proud of her she’s such a special little pony🥰

For anyone that remembers me posting about Monty the ‘wild’ stallion in March!🤩
He’s now a lot less wild and no longer a stallion 🥳✂️🤣
He has come on leaps and bounds since we first got a head collar on in March and today he had his first walk out along the lane, so proud of him as it took him a long time to get him confident even touching his face and now he is happy being brushed all over and we’ve started asking him to lift his feet. He is so polite to lead and it’s lovely to see the confidence in him grow every time I see him. His lovely owner has worked so hard in between sessions with me and it really shows in the progress he’s made!

Had a lovely morning taking Dotty and Darcy to a pole clinic today. Both girls so well behaved and easy in every way.
Darcy has been slowly getting fit since she came into work after having her tooth removed with lots of hacking. Proving to be safe and sensible hacking alone and in company and now being sweet and willing in the school and over poles. She tries really hard to please, I absolutely love her attitude to life. She is mainly ridden by Alice who co owns her with me and they make a great team, I am loving seeing them grow as a partnership together🤩

Dotty is also doing really well after having a year off after her colic surgery this time last year. She had a lot of complications after the surgery so has been very slow progress bringing her back into work so it felt like a huge milestone to have something booked for her to go to today 🥰 lots of work needed to get her strength and confidence back to what it used to be but I’m just so happy to be back out on my special girl🥹

Keeping cool at Allerford!
I can’t count how many times I’ve hosed horses off this week and how many mashes have been made 🫠
Looking forward to some more sensible temperatures so I can crack on and ride a bit more 🏇

Dots and Darcy were so good, Darcy did find it a little exciting going through the village but held it together and did relax after she’d marched around a bit when we arrived and realised we weren’t at the races 😉 then she hacked back like an angel😇 Dotty as always was just happy to be out!
They were even offered the fanciest drink of water they’ve ever had 🥂🍾

So happy with Bandit today! Second hack out and look how chilled he is 🥰 he’s really not put a foot wrong the whole time he’s been with me!
