Happy hooves eal centre is being created to offer the opportunity for everyone to benefit from learning alongside horses. "The psychological benefits of working with horses are being recognised by growing numbers of therapists who work with autistic children, young people with behavioural problems, adults with depression or people with addiction" ( Tracey McVeigh The Guardian ). There is also incr

easing evidence of the positive affect that horses can have for many other groups such as those with eating disorders, dementia, the long term unemployed etc etc so in short everyone can benefit. We have chosen to focus on using Clydesdale horses primarily as we have found despite their great size the have the kindest calmest natures of any horses we have worked with. They are also classed as a rare breed so we hope to also support them in showing the versatility of their breed.

Pop along from 12 on Sunday 16th August. Lots to see and do including pony grooming, bird talk stalls, refreshments, vintage cars and engines dog show and much more!!

We are also always in need of more donations please for the cake stall and tombola if you are able to get them to us.
