How to build mental fitness using everyday annoyances...

Think things like traffic, running late to work, kids pushing your buttons, partner saying something (not major life event)

💥 Try 3-2-1 💥

✳️ 3 emotions and feelings it brings up in you and ask yourself why

[ Emotion: Anger, because < why > and that made me feel undervalued, unheard etc. Fear because that means < why > and this made me feel worried and anxious. ]

How did you behave as a result of feeling this? (Shouted at kids, put me in a bad mood all morning, ate s**t, opened a bottle of wine 🍷)

💫YOU ARE RAISING YOUR SELF REFLECTION & AWARENESS GAME 💫

NOW;

✳️ 2 insights or something you've learnt about yourself (be kind)

[ For example; I am a time optimist. I used to be late 99% of the time. I'd plan, I knew what time I needed to leave, it just never happened and I'd then be running around like a headless chicken, stressed! ]

💫YOU ARE LEARNING TO BE MORE OBJECTIVE AND SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE💫

NOW:

✳️ 1 Mindset, attitude or lifestyle shift you can make that could support you next time you're in a similar situation

[ This way of thinking never accounts for last minute hiccups. So, I now tell myself I need to be 'there' 10 mins before I need to, and viola since this I'm more on time now than I've ever been, and I'm a mama! ]

Seems simple but begins to build mental fitness skills and resilience to lifes little annoyances

🌟 A powerful client breakthrough today 💫

Being overlooked in any career promotion due to mental blocks, mind going blank, self consciousness & immense anxiety in every interview…. and on the personal side, often sitting back feeling ‘socially awkward’ or over analysing her contributions in social situations … it was exhausting, she had no self belief & said she felt ‘blocked’!

During the session this highly experienced and capable professional discovered she had made some pretty big subconscious decisions 30+ years ago ..

“Become invisible”
“I need to hide away”
“It’s best not to say anything”
“I’m not good enough”
“No one likes me”

A huge release followed …

And we got to work on eliminating these beliefs right away!

And downloaded some powerful purposeful empowering new ones that will serve her much better 🙌🏼

During the online session her voice went from, interrupted, stammering, literally struggling to get her words out, to ease & flow by the end, which was very noticeable and she said she felt so light & bright afterwards. Her face had a glow & softness to it that was lovely to see …

I’m excited for our next coaching session & to watch her new future unfold 💫🌟💫

Our subconscious runs the show, approximately 95% of what we think, feel & how we turn act is triggered here. So it’s the best place to start in getting to the root cause …

TAKING A BREAK ✋ I don’t need much of an excuse to coffee & cake but now I’m on maternity leave, why not! 💁🏼‍♀️ Mum doesn’t need much excuse either so off we went 🍰 best carrot cake around 🤤

Im taking a break from any new coaching clients now until spring 2024 to rest, enjoy nesting & becoming a new mummy next month.

It’s been a white knuckle rollercoaster 🎢 of a year, I’m absolutely shattered but feeling hopeful about the future. Thank you to everyone that’s sent me gifts, reached out to me near & far. Honestly, Your words have been so heart felt & comforting 💕

Love this slobber chops 🩵

Today on our walk we sat a bit, out in the middle of nowhere just chilling. I looked over at him & noticed he was just sat looking at me. Animals are so intuitive ❤️

Didn’t fancy kisses 👅 today though after the rain there was way too much sniff-sniff-juice flowing!!

We’ve all been there at some point in life. But a cycle commonly woven within anxiety is self doubt. Self doubt causes a ton of overthinking, action paralysis, procrastination, and subsequently even more stress!

The best way to sooth self doubt, is to take some positive action.

That old saying feel the fear (or self doubt as it is in this case) and take action anyway.

One of my own go to tips for times I feel self doubt is to note down my self doubt thoughts “……..” 📝 and then make a note of the truth or the actual facts next to the doubt. I find this helps me sooth the inner negative dialogue.

Give that a go ♥️
