The practice has instilled a new Subject Access Request system (SAR). All SAR's should be notified to the practice by patients directly or their representative (such as solicitor or guardian) using the dedicated request form which meets all regulated guidance. SARs will be processed internally when received and information will be in line with GDPR legislation.
Records will be provided electronically where possible as this will provide a clear audit trail and we can ensure that receipt confirmations are included.
Please feel free to discuss this with any member of staff if you have any queries.

More information relating to SARs can be found on the NHS Digital website at https://digital.nhs.uk/data-and-information/information-governance/guidance/subject-access-requests

Gosberton Medical Practice is working towards a more paperless system delivery.
As part of our 'Greener Practice' initiative we will be working towards reducing the amount of paper coming in and out of the practice.
As part of this we will be promoting the use of the NHS app where patients can order repeat prescriptions, see their medical records online and download any correspondence regarding their health (ie hospital letters etc).
Please support us by ensuring that you have an email address on your records here.
More information coming soon.......
