We will be going live from Hold Your Horses very shortly, the lovely Bethany is going to announce the winner of our teddy bear, Memories For-Eva partnership competition.

For those of you that didn't know, every weekend we bring the kids down to hold your horses. What started as a space for our eldest to work alongside the horses while working on his literacy has literally turned into a home from home 🏠 Lisa and Bethany are both incredible with what the do, so much knowledge and genuinely care 🤍

🎨💜 THE CHAIR THAT REMAINS 💜🎨

I genuinely cannot say enough about Shirley, the incredible artist who will be delivering this workshop.

She is one of those people you meet and instantly feel something from. She has an aura around her that is almost impossible to put into words, such warmth, calmness and kindness. She has an incredible way of making people feel comfortable, and I honestly think she is the perfect person to hold the space for a workshop like this. 💜

The Chair That Remains is about so much more than learning to paint.

It is a gentle, creative space to explore grief, loss, memory and connection through art. A chance to create something meaningful, learn new skills, connect with others and honour the memories we carry with us.

You do not need any painting or artistic experience. Shirley will guide you step-by-step, and all materials are included. 🎨

If this is something you feel drawn to, come along to Atlas Centre on Monday 24th or Tuesday 25th August, anytime between 10am–1pm, to register.

Sometimes creativity gives us a way to express the things that words simply can't.

🤍 THE ONE PIECE MEMORY CUSHION 🤍

I wanted to share this one individually because Memory Cushions have a very special place in my own heart.

I actually have one of these made from my Granny Ruby's jumper, thanks to my mum. 🤍

My granny passed away 10 years ago this month and all these years later, I still cherish that cushion greatly.

There's just something about clothing. A jumper they always wore. A shirt you can picture them in. A piece of fabric that might look completely ordinary to somebody else but, to you, is instantly them. 🥹

🏕️ BREAKING NEWS: WE SURVIVED. 😂

Kirk and I have successfully completed camping with three children and have lived to tell the tale.

Please respect our privacy during this difficult transition back to normal life. 😂😂

We're officially BACK IN OFFICE TODAY and straight back into it! 🤍
