In a world that can often feel divided, stressful and uncertain, kindness has never been more important. Loving kindness is one of the greatest strengths we can develop. It is both a way of thinking and a way of acting that brings real benefit to ourselves and to everyone around us.

Even the smallest acts of genuine kindness can transform how we feel, strengthen our connections with others, and help dissolve conflict and unhappiness. Many of the problems we experience simply cannot survive in the warmth of a loving heart.

As our kindness grows, we naturally become a source of encouragement, understanding and hope for others, helping to create a happier and more peaceful world.

In this inspiring Public Talk, Gen Tilopa will share practical Buddhist wisdom on how to develop the powerful mind of loving kindness and apply it in everyday life. Through clear explanations and guided meditations, you’ll discover simple, practical methods that anyone can use to cultivate a kinder heart, solve problems with greater wisdom, and experience a more joyful and meaningful life.

Gen Tilopa is Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Liverpool.
He is a devoted disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Rinpoche, founder of The New Kadampa Tradition.
Born in Scotland Gen Tilopa has taught Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years in both the UK and the United States.
He is known for his profound wisdom, delivered with a wry Scottish sense of humour.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn how Buddha taught us to reduce and eliminate our stress and anxiety with Kadam Bridget Hayes, UK, NKT national Spiritual Director.

Kadam Bridget is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life. Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone.

She is a senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, founder of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) and she herself has been practising for over 30 years.

According to Buddha, stress does not come from external situations but rather from our response to them. In other words, it comes from our mind.

By learning how to “drop out” of a stressed mind and into a clear and peaceful one we can learn to respond to problems differently, in a more centred, flexible and effective way.

Using Buddha’s profound insights into the mind, Kadam Bridget will uncover where our stressful response comes from and show how we can manage our mind to respond skilfully and peacefully to all situations.

Buddha’s wisdom advice in these troubled times is now probably more relevant than when he first gave these teachings 2,600 years ago. More and more people are finding it hard to cope with life’s challenges. Stress related illnesses are becoming more prevalent. Buddha taught exactly how to discover and build inner peace in our minds.

Kadam Bridget will explain these ancient methods, to enable us to bring them into the context of our daily lives and live our lives free of stress and anxiety.

Early Bird ticket prices still available but do hurry.
