Back in the driveway again — the Everton hearse makes its fourth visit to Valley Lodge.

The Liverpool hearse has only managed one so far, but there’s still plenty of season left.

🐾💧 At Thomas McMullan we want to make sure our furry friends stay hydrated, especially during this warm weather.

We keep our water bowl topped up throughout the day with fresh cold water for any passing dogs out on their walks. 🐶☀️

If you ever stop by and notice it’s empty, please just give us a knock and we’ll happily refill it.

In an unexpected turn of events, Birkenhead has been illuminated by genuine sunshine.
In response, management has introduced No‑Tie Tuesday or, in its full ceremonial title, No Tie in the Office Tuesday.
The reasoning behind this remains unclear, but staff have accepted it without question.

It has been 30 minutes.
Progress has been… measurable.

☕ Two cups of tea have been produced. Both were deemed essential to morale.
🧺 The washing has finally been placed in the machine. Only four days overdue, which, for this team, represents a significant operational milestone.
🧹 A brief hoovering session occurred. No one has claimed responsibility.

Morale has risen to levels not previously documented.
There is growing evidence that staff believe an early dart may be achievable if they maintain this pace.

Next on the agenda: Do a little weeding on the kerb.
Whether this will happen remains a matter of speculation.

Meanwhile, The Valley Lodge is basking in the sunlight, looking unusually photogenic.
She now awaits Jay and his team Prestige Lawn Care who will shortly begin planting out the garden with flowers arriving from Follyfield nursery this week.
Observers agree this gives the impression of an organisation that is, at least temporarily, functioning.

No‑Tie Tuesday may become a permanent fixture.
Not because it is necessary, but because no one has expressed the energy required to oppose it.
