This afternoon, the Benore golden girls came together to unwind for a relaxing ladies day 🥰👯‍♀️

They were welcomed with a selection of cocktails and magazines while having the chance to enjoy a classic musical, Guys and Dolls, with their feet dipped in bubbly foot spa’s! 🫧🧖‍♀️

Needless to say, the atmosphere was there and these lovely ladies loved every second! 🍾🤩

Today Michael kick-started our Residents’ Recipes series by recreating his dad James’s famous miner’s piece!🥪❤️

Michael spoke fondly about his dad working down the Mary Pit and the lunches he would take with him.It was wonderful hearing the stories and bringing those memories back to life. ⛏️✨

Of course, being Michael, he made a little extra so his friends could enjoy a taste too!😋👨‍🍳

A fantastic morning filled with memories, conversation and connection.

What a magical afternoon we had at our Senior Prom! 🌟 Our residents and staff got all dressed up in their finest outfits and danced the day away together. ❤️ From sparkling dresses and sharp suits to lots of smiles and laughter, it was a day to remember! ✨

A huge thank you to the amazing DJ Stewtacular 🎶🎤 for keeping the dance floor full and the energy high all afternoon long! From classic favorites to crowd-pleasing hits, everyone had a fantastic time singing, dancing, and making special memories together. 🕺💃

Moments like these remind us that you’re never too old to celebrate, have fun, and enjoy a little glamour! 💖

Today our residents celebrated National Black Cow Day, the American name for a classic ice cream drink! 🇺🇸🥤🍨

Residents chose their favourite sodas to create their own tasty treats while enjoying familiar ice cream tunes 🎶🍦. The activity brought back lots of happy childhood memories and was a huge hit with everyone! 😊 ❤️

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have maintained scores of 6 in our recent care inspection results!🌟👏

To celebrate this fantastic achievment, Adrian threw an amazing party for our incredible staff and residents, whose dedication, compassion, and hard work made this possible. 💖🙌

The atmosphere was electric with dazzling disco lights✨🪩, plenty of smiles 😊, and fantastic entertainment from the talented Jimmy Jack 🎤🎶, who had everyone singing along and enjoying the celebrations all the more!

🎶🎸✨T In The Carpark ✨6🎸🎶

We are exciting to announce T6 will take place on Saturday the 8th of August at 11am to 3pm, in our carpark at Benore Care centre! We can’t wait to welcome you all 🤗🥳

All money raised will go towards both homes Comfort Funds 🪎

In preparation we appreciate any donations you can spare 🙏

We have lots of live music on all day with Robert Allan Choir, Ben Foy Piper, Carol Lee, Jimmy Jack and Charles Hankin 🎶

We have a variety of stalls to keep you entertained throughout with our Bake sale, water & wine stall, tombala, raffle that will be drawn on the day, our fabulous kids corner with lots of goodies, kids tombola and so much more 🎡🎊

Everyone will be well fed with our smoking BBQ and refreshments. We recommend a B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Bottle) if you plan on drinking, it will be lots of fun either way🍾 🎉
