Just because packaging arrives brand new doesn’t mean I’m comfortable taking it straight from the box and filling it.

Before it reaches us, that jar or bottle has been handled, packed, stored and transported — all things that happen before it ever enters our production room.

That’s why at Wholistic Herbals, every single jar and bottle goes through our dedicated production dishwasher before we use it.

Yes, even brand-new ones.

It’s another step. Another job. More time.

But when we say our products are handcrafted with care, we don’t just mean the herbs and ingredients inside.

We’ve been taught to reach for a pill before we reach for a plant. 💊🌿

And I believe that says a lot about what has gone wrong with our current healthcare system.

We have created a model that is heavily focused on what happens after we become unwell — managing symptoms, prescribing treatments and responding to disease — while prevention, nutrition, lifestyle and traditional approaches to health can feel like an afterthought.

And I believe we are paying the price for that.

We have become disconnected from our bodies.
Disconnected from our food.
Disconnected from nature.
And disconnected from generations of knowledge about the plants that grow around us.

🌿 Herbal medicine didn’t become obsolete simply because modern medicine arrived.

For thousands of years, people have worked with plants as part of caring for themselves and their families — and I refuse to believe that knowledge should simply be forgotten.

This isn’t about blaming doctors and nurses.

It’s about questioning a healthcare model that I believe desperately needs to change.
