Balayage didn’t always look like this… and neither did I.
Swipe through the years and you’ll see the difference, not just in the hair, but in me.
There was a time when I was SOO anxious and nervous. I wouldn’t put myself on social media, I didn’t really put myself out there and I definitely didn’t think people would be interested in watching me do hair at all... That still baffles me.
My work was okay. I was good at what I did. But I knew I could be better.
So I invested in myself. I invested in my education, my business and, ultimately, my clients because I wanted to give them something better and build a better future for my family too.
14 years behind the chair and I’m still learning, still tweaking, still obsessing over the tiniest details to make sure my clients are happy because without them, there is no salon.
Looking back at that first slide honestly makes me so friggin proud.
Not because it was bad, but because I can see how far I’ve come.
And slide 4? Yeah that's 14 years of learning, growing, surviving and just going for it 🖤
