✨ Weekly Round-Up Across Hamberley Care Homes✨
It's been another wonderful week across our homes, filled with milestone birthdays, exciting outings, community fundraising, and plenty of laughter along the way.
💯 A very special celebration took place at Meryton Place as Maurice marked his 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends. The milestone occasion was filled with love, laughter, delicious food, and a memorable birthday cake.
🧀 Residents at Cofton Park Manor enjoyed an afternoon of cheese, wine and great company. The gathering provided the perfect opportunity to relax, socialise, and share plenty of smiles.
🚴 At Alston House, residents, team members, and visitors have taken on an incredible challenge to cycle the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats using the home's exercise bikes. The fundraising effort is supporting Southampton Hospitals Charity and has already generated fantastic enthusiasm.
🎂 There were double celebrations at Hindhead Place as resident Colin shared his birthday with the home's first anniversary. It was a special occasion filled with joy, memories, and plenty of birthday cheer.
🥁 Residents at Templeton Place enjoyed a lively Drumming Circle session that filled the home with rhythm, energy, and laughter. The event was a huge success, bringing everyone together for a fun and engaging experience.
🎉 The team and residents at Richmond Manor came together to celebrate Sylvia's birthday in style. Her delighted smile as everyone sang Happy Birthday and presented her cake was a wonderful moment to share.
🚗 Residents of Charrington Manor enjoyed a fantastic outing to Mercedes-Benz World, where they explored the history of the iconic brand and admired an impressive collection of classic and modern vehicles. The visit also included a fascinating cinema presentation showcasing Mercedes-Benz innovation through the years.
🎈 Family and friends gathered at Brookwater House to celebrate resident Bob's birthday, creating a room full of love, laughter, and treasured memories. It was a heartwarming reminder of the importance of family and togetherness.
🐐 Residents from Chawley Grove had a wonderful morning out at Millets Farm, meeting some lovely animals and enjoying coffee, cake, and ice cream. The outing was a fantastic way to spend time together and enjoy the fresh air.
🍎 Residents at Lovell Place raised a glass to World Cider Day with a tasting session featuring both fruity and traditional ciders. The afternoon was filled with conversation, laughter, and the chance to discover some new favourites.
